The NBC drama from Sony Pictures Television has just cast
Hollywood icon Isabella Rossellini in a guest-starring role,
TheWrap has learned.
She will play Floriana Campo in an episode set to air early in the season. Floriana, an advocate and campaigner to end human and sex trafficking around the globe, becomes the target of an assassin known as The Freelancer. The killer disguises his premeditated killings as everyday accidents.
In addition, veteran actress Jane Alexander will also guest star on the same episode as Department of Justice official, Diane Fowler.

I like Rossellini but I was kind of hoping she'd play a villain.

ReplyDeleteThough for all we know she could just be disguising as the good guy and might actually turn out to be the bad guy all along.... (oooh.... intrigue...)
She would have mad an amazing villain. No argument there.

ReplyDeleteI always associate Isabella Rossellini with her role in "Death Becomes Her" (it was the fist thing I ever saw her in) so maybe I'm kinda predisposed to view her like the villain, hence thinking that when someone would cast her it would be in the villain role.
