I'm really looking forward to this show. I only hope that the secret connection Red and Elizabeth share doesn't turn out to be as obvious as most people believe it will be. Either way, I doubt it'll significantly influence my enjoyment of the series.
I'm interested in this, like many, mainly because of James Spader. However The Following proved that you cannot just have a well-known talent as lead. So many other things have to come together, especially in the writer's room. I'm hoping this one takes note of where The Following failed and puts as much emphasis on story as it does on Spader.
I have a suspicion that this show will devolve into case-of-the-week procedural: each week a different name from the list will be addressed. I mean, it's on NBC, so it can't actually be good, right?
Yes, I am looking forward to the show and to the whole spectrum of Spader-creepyness, but I will be pissed if she turns out to be his daugher. Even considering it annoys me.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Cannot wait to see this!

ReplyDeletethis really looks tailor made for Spader's eccentricities... and I'm so looking forward to it because of that

James Spader can be brilliantly scary-weird-disgusting-creepy.
