Big Bad Plans: Though it seemed as if Peter killed Jennifer in the finale's last scene, Davis wouldn't confirm that she's actually dead, saying with a laugh, "t's hard to confirm anyone's really dead on the show. By the end of the season, we all loved her so much. Everybody was turning back to me, like, 'Can't we bring her back?' I'm like, 'I don't know, maybe!' You never know. She's a phenomenal actress and villain. I just loved Haley Webb and I think she knocked it out of the park."
And just because Peter's intentions of stealing Scott's new Alpha power was revealed, doesn't mean he's the big bad when the show returns in January. "He's not actually the big bad, the villain," Davis teases. "He's definitely an antagonist for the next season. Our heroes should watch out for him." He adds that fans can still expect to see Peter and Derek spent a lot of time together.
"We've always called him an Iago to Derek's Othello, so he's certainly a manipulator," he explains. "You're going to find him with Derek quite often. Those two together are quite good. They're almost like a buddy cop movie waiting to happen."
A Wolf on a Mission: Yes Derek fans, that means you can expect to see the well-muscles werewolf return. You didn't really think he was leaving the show for good, did you? Oh, you did? That's so sweet. We remember our first TV show, too! "Derek has a very specific mission and he will return. As for when he returns and how, you'll have to wait and see." Davis confirms you will "see him on his journey" and not just arriving back in Beacon Hills. (FYI: The premiere picks up "only a few weeks" after the finale.)

YES to Haley returning!!!Please let it happen
ReplyDeleteI hope so, she was the coolest villain yet.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I've to agree on that. Teen Wolf have some crazy villains.
ReplyDelete10 bucks say the new girl and Scott get it on.
ReplyDeleteAnd a major boooooo to Isaac/Allison.
No to Isallison/Allisaac!!! I don't know, what are they called anyway?
ReplyDeleteThe point is, it sucks when they force a couple on screen just because the actors date/dated in real life and the writers think "oh! this could work".
But, yes I suppose that if tey're really going forward with this two, Scott will start seeing the new girl, and they'll be able to rehash the Oliver/Laurel/Tommy triangle where the writters tried to aproach it in a mature way (at least that's what they kept saying at the time)
As long as we get some lovey dovey Scallison moments (like in season 1) by the end of the season, I'm ok with it.
Haley has been intentionally vague and evasive when she's been asked what she's up to next and Jeff has been wishy-washy about her death....
ReplyDeleteSo I'm actually in the camp that thinks Jennifer is sooooo not done with the show... and I'm all up for that!
HEY! If Gerard and the twins escaped death like that, Peter was resurrected and Deucalion just gets to walk away without a scratch, Jennifer sure as hell can come back too! She's just as awesome as any of them (and is some cases awesome-er than them *side eyes Gerard and Aiden*)
So here's my thing about Peter... being an antagonist and a manipulator doesn't necessarily make you a bad guy... It makes you untrustworthy and cunning sure, but an out-right villain? I'd put that up for debate.
Personally I loved his placement and the way he was used and acted this season. So I hope that's the capacity he stays in for the rest of the show.
I'm sure his vanity and pride will take the best of him and be his downfall in the end, but I think it would be interesting if he does stay on the good side, even if only because it's the smart thing for him to do....
And YES for more Derek/Peter. The "you're family so I tolerate you but really I hate you, though in some weird way I might also care about you" thing they got going, is very interesting!
About Derek's "mission".... I wonder.... all this I've been reading and hearing about.... I wonder....
My two main theories:
1) he's out trying to find out what happened to Cora
or
2) he's be trying to stretch his powers and see if he can achieve full wolf from shift like Talia and Laura. Keeping that legacy might be something that is important to his family....
I'd be interested in a TW spinoff... especially if it's about a female character... There's some interesting potential there I agree with Jeff. Hope it works out.
I'll say my money is on Kira being the kitsune, buuuuuuuuut, there's also that thing Jeff mentioned about a new team of hunters coming in and having a female leader, so that's my (much further) second guess.
Curious to see how the "darkness" affects them, and how it manifests itself to each of them. Evidently Allison is having blood thirsty, murder filled nightmares, and Stiles hasn't been sleeping. What about Scott? And does it affect them in other ways too?
Oh, and I'm totally game for seeing Scott kinda failing at the Alpha thing....
Lastly, I'm still not on board with the Allison/Isaac thing. I don't think I ever will be, even if they do go the "mature" way about it.... I'm just.... no.... And I'm not saying thins as some sort of rabid Scott/Allison shipper, because I'm not one at all. In fact the teen romance drama is easily my least favourite aspect of the show... and this? this is such a Teen Romance Drama trope (even if they do approach it from a different angle that usual...) So just no!
