    It says, "They must rise or all will die" -- not just, "Scott must rise." That sounds promising.

    Agreed, I guess. But, if you get right down to it, the only one without any redeeming qualities at all is Grandpa Argent. I mean, Deucalion seemed like a reasonable guy before Gerard betrayed and blinded him. That started this whole catastrophe rolling, in the first place. Deucalion became power-hungry in his rage and need for vengeance and killed all of his betas and then had Cali kill hers, as well as try to kill her druid and personal friend, Jennifer. I would not be sad to see Gerard die a horrible and painful death...

    Actually, if it wasn't for the fact that Deucalion has been made out to be this big bad from the very first second he appeared on screen I doubt you'd think he is in fact a bad guy. He hasn't really killed people at random, not by himself anyway. He is highly manipulative, but intellectually superior people usually are to an extent. He is about as bad as Derek was when we first met him (save for the fact that Derek was groomed to become a good guy) and probably still better than Peter was at any point during the first 2 seasons.
