NBC is expanding its relationship with Adam Levine.
Three months after inking The Voice coach to a one-year first-look development deal , the network has picked up a script for a semi-autobiographical comedy from the Maroon 5 singer, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
The single-camera entry from Universal Television is based on Levine's relationship with writer-producer Gene Hong ( Community). The former roommates have been roommates since before either found success in Hollywood. Hong will pen the script and executive produce alongside Levine and his longtime manager/producing partner at 222 Productions Jordan Feldstein.
