In a competitive situation, a single-camera comedy from
Sex And The City alumna Jenny Bicks has landed at NBC
with a put pilot commitment. The project, from 20th
Century Fox TV, where Bicks is under an overall deal, is
about a beached mermaid in search of adventure who
winds up working in a bar/attraction in Miami with an
eclectic group of people as lost as she is. Bicks is the
writer-executive producer.

Mermaids, eh. Well, this reminds me of some import series I watched as a kid, vaguely, could be good though, I suppose, hopefully it's funny (if it makes it to the air).
ReplyDeleteIs the Mermaid going to be called Madison?
ReplyDeleteInteresting, I love mermaids, I would have preferred a drama but i'll take what I can get!
ReplyDeleteCould be campy cute, or a trashy disaster.... I willing to be optimistic about this....
ReplyDeleteI LOVE IT! The more stupid shows NBC puts on the air the longer Community is likely to last. Oh I wish this came out around Chucks 5th season.
ReplyDeleteYou do realize you can't know it's stupid based on a logline, right?
ReplyDeleteUmmm..... This doesn't sound good. I'll wait to hear more before I judge.
ReplyDeleteOh but I can. Two words: Mermaid Comedy.
