    I hope they stay together into next season. I don't want the dark broodiness of Sam/Andy back. Give Andy and Nick a break and let them be happy...at least for now.

    I'm really glad to see that fun that has defined Nick and Andy's relationship is going to carry over into them being a romantic relationship. I couldn't help but laugh and get a huge smile on my face when she wrung out her wet hair on him to get him up.


    My only concern now is that even though they're both happy together now, you can tell that he's totally in love with her when he looks at her and I'm worried that he's going to end up getting his heartbroken if she goes back to Sam. I've always been worried about that, but he's going to be even more devastated now that they've actually been together and been happy for awhile.

    I'm hoping the writers realise that Nick and Andy have a huge following too and as a result think twice about having her go back to Sam. There's no doubt that Nick was introduced by the writers to shake things up between Sam and Andy but something wonderful has happened, they've found a sweet chemistry that actually makes for a good pairing. Sam + Andy = darker angsty love and Nick + Andy = lighter fun love. Both are great to watch but we should simply sacrifice one for the other.

    As their story has developed, I've seen Nick and Andy gain a ton of fans. Some liked them from last season, some started liking them from this season premiere, and others started to gradually like them over the season. I've even seen a fair amount of Sam/Andy fans that have jumped ship and are rooting for McCollins now or are shipping both (and are very confused about who they want Andy with).

    I actually don't think the writers anticipated Nick and Andy were going to be this popular, so I don't know what they have planned for the rest of the season. I'm kind of hoping that at the very least they wrote the end of the season as ambiguous (leaving Andy with Nick, but having her wondering about Sam or something like that), so they can decide what they want to do in between seasons.

    On Twitter the writers were adamant at the beginning (and even middle) of the season that Sam and Andy were endgame, but they haven't been saying that as much lately. Which makes me wonder if they're reconsidering now until they see how the fanbase feels after the end of the season. I won't be surprised if they stick with Sam/Andy, but I'm hoping like hell that they might reconsider and keep her with Nick.

    Lol, sorry for the novel. It's just been awhile since I've gotten as involved with a ship as this. I actually liked Sam, but Nick and Andy are so fun and light, plus they have such a great friendship. I just think there's enough TV shows out there that showcase the passionate, dark, angsty loves but not enough that show the type that Nick and Andy have.

    I'm thinking the writers may have got themselves in a pickle here because whether they go with mccollins or McSwarek at the end of this season it's gonna annoy a lot of ppl, I know not everyone can like every story but I wonder if they knew they were gonna create this divide. Coupling are the thing ppl are super passionate about

    Finally cute McCollins scene :D:D:D:D:D I want them to be together - McSwarek is like a sinking ship whenever they're together!!! Andy has to open Sam up with a crowbar and it's still not enough - that's not a relationship!!!!!
    Nick respects and loves Andy like she deserves!!!!

    too fast??? and Sam and Andy wasn't?! they jumped to bed based on pure attraction they had from the start, while he was undercover. With Nick Andy knew about him, had great friendship and didn't have to force him to open up about him and they lived together for 6 months!!!! That's a really good groun work for a relationship.

    Yeah, at the beginning of the season they said they wanted to create a "viable romantic relationship for Andy that viewers would believe." I do wonder based on that statement if they anticipated how passionate people would get or how much the Nick/Andy relationship would take off.


    It kind of makes me wonder if they would have written the season differently if they would have known what a massive divide it was going to cause because now they're screwed either way-one way or another one part of the fan base is going to get really pissed off and disappointed.


    It's not like when Luke cheated on Andy and she broke up with him (not many fans were upset). Anything they do now is going to really upset a large majority of the fan base. I wouldn't want to be in their shoes-or actually I would because then I could make the final decision and I could decide what happens lol :D

    ANDY AND NICK IS JUST ALL ABOUT SEX IF THEIR NOT TALKING ABOUT SEX THEIR HAVING SEX.THEIR SO BORING,SAM AND ANDY HAVING A SIMPLY EVERYDAY CONVERSATION IS MORE ENTERTAINMENT THEN THIS. SEX IS NOT EVERYTHING. NICK IS ALL ABOUT THE CHASE,DID YOU HEAR HIM IN THE CAR SAY HE WON GAIL FROM CHRIS, NICK NEWS FLAG SHE'S A YOUNG LADY NOT A FREAKING TROPHY!

    AND FOR PEOPLE WHO SAY NICK SAY THE NICEST THINGS TO ANDY OF COURSE HE DOES HE WAS HER BREAKUP BUDDY HE HEARD HER COMPLAIN ABOUT EVERYTHING SO HE KNOWS WHAT SHE WANTS TO HEAR AND WANT FROM A RELATIONSHIP DUH.

    Boooring. Looks like two friends sleeping together. Theres no spark, no sexual tension, no passion. Its not like Sam and Andy. There is no chemistry. With Sam and Andy, you can feel the heat coming out of your screen. This is like seeing two teens making out.

    that's totally NOT what it was like between Andy and Nick!!!!!!! Nick was always, always there for Andy as her friend, her shoulder to cry, her equal!!!! Nick never used Andy, he told her he would wait, hell he thought his crush would pass and that's way he tried to make it work with Gail - they broke up after she cheated on him and then he admitted to having feeling for Andy. He never acted on his feelings after the whole Gail fiasco, and even then he told Andy he would wait however long she needed to be ready to try with him!!!
    So tell me how did he used Andy for sex, she's the one that kissed him first!!!!!

    I was a HUGE McSwarek fan until Sam went all crazy after Jerry died. Remember the episode In Plain View when the laundromat is burned down with the owner in it? At the end Andy was confused why anyone would help burn down a business? Sam says that he "there when it matters". But he wasn't. Then he FINALLY opens up - while Andy is holding a grenade - but then jokes about it and THEN says he will do ANYTHING to get her back. Andy goes undercover - which he would have known the next day - but does he wait? Nope. He moved on with someone in 15 Division. What better way o tell Andy that he didn't mean ANY OF IT. I started to see something in McCollins with the Breakup Buddy story. Nick is a solid, loyal guy. Not wishy washy, not half in/half out. Someone with Andy's back ground is going to find him trustworthy - especially after her mom, dad, Luke and Sam. Nick is in love with Andy and I am really hoping that the writers let their story develop. Maybe it won't work out but a relationship that is fun and caring is so much more rewarding then a relationship that you are walking on egg shells and really don't know the other person. Watching Sam not really care at all about Andy after being covered in anthrax heroine I decided I was done with McSwarek and was 100% in for McCollins. Having said that - I totally melted when Sam said that he missed her, was thinking about kids, parks and Sundays...with HER. But sometimes maybe the "good guy" should get the girl and the other guy should have to watch her be really happy with someone who can really give her what she needs in a relationship.

    Interesting, because I find Sam and Andy boring, they keep circling the same issues, been there and done that for three season. Andy-Nick relations is refreshing, its fun, both are open with each other and it's base on friendship, one of strongest foundation of relationship. I can see this relationship goes the distance!
    Also, anyone else find it interesting that the show opted for an intimate Andy-Nick scene as a sneak peek? Perhaps they begin to realize how popular McCollins is becoming? ;P

    Just love Nick and Andy they are such a fun and hopefully loving couple. I have been with R/B form the start, and yes the writers have got themselves a real pickle to sort out. I have to say that 'mean and moody' Sam no longer does it for me especially after season 3! This season Andy's character when she not having awkward conversation around Sam has been good to watch along with the others.
    I know there are lots of Sam/Andy out there but did anyone realise how many of us would go for Nick and Andy. I fear for Nick truly But I know who I would chose if it was me!
    No more egg shells please at lest keep some option open for the future.
