Rutherford will play Joyce, a stoic, and shark-like member of the City Council who is clearly its alpha leader. Her political ambition will progress throughout the season as the show's scandal deepens.

'Kelly Rutherford to Recurring' brilliant use of the english language
ReplyDeleteI had already forgotten about CBS' Reckeless. While I'm always glad to see Georgina Haig on TV, CBS will have to try really hard to prevent this legal show from ending up just like last season's Made in Jersey.
ReplyDeleteFrom the the description of the show I feel it aims to be more Chicago Code than Made in Jersey... here's hoping it's as good as Chicago Code but lasts longer. The people involved certainly give it some decent pedigree.
ReplyDeleteEither way, midseason entries on CBS are usually DOA. The only exception I can see coming will be Intelligence. It'll be an uphill climb to keep this on the air beyond its initial run.
ReplyDeleteI'll argue: Midseason entries in general are DOA. (I can only think of ABC that has at least a decent track record with them. Everyone else? Not so much).
ReplyDeleteSo I agree with you. There's not that much hope for this one.
And personally, as much as I would hope to be proven wrong, I don't even see Intelligence being the exception...
All fair points, although ABC's midseason record isn't good either. Zero Hour, Red Widow, Off The Map, How to Live With Your Parents..., The River, GCB, Missing, etc.
ReplyDeleteI'm not disagreeing with those.
ReplyDeleteBut at least ABC has had a few midseason shows that actually turned into hits: Castle, Grey's, Scandal....
