  1. Ok we started out with Jesse/Hank which didn't go down as I expected but was interesting to watch nonetheless. Then we get the Walter confession tape that just screwed Hank completely (I think I literally said aloud 5-10 times "He has fucking balls to do that!"). But then we get a conversation between Jesse/Walt in the desert that makes us worry for a minute but then gives us a false sense of security. And Jesse's possible goodbye, I was waiting for something but it never came.

Then it happened... Jesse figured out how Walt got the Ricin off Jesse. And shit went down. Never, ok I can't really say that, but my recollection is failing me on having epic scene after epic scene come in a single episode that ends with... pretty much hell breaking loose. I had to go with Jesse in Saul's office. That scene... changed everything.

  2. The lunch scene, Walt's video, the desert scene, and Jesse coming back to Saul's office. I mean, seriously. One of the best episodes of one hell of a show.

  3. Every scene was so good, the confession video though had me screaming at the TV, once again Walter goes too far.

  4. I went with the lunch scene. It just really showed how broken the family is.

  5. Walt's "confession" was chilling. I loved it. But Jesse snapping and flipping out -- finally letting all the pent-up guilt and rage drive his actions -- it really pulled the rug out. Will this cause Hank to just decide that it's over for him either way?

  7. Last week Anna Gunn nailed it and all her scenes were the best. This week Jesse was the winner. As much as I loved Walt´s confession and the lunch scene Jesses scenes were so brilliant. First of the desert scene was perfect, with Jesse and Walt hugging in the end. But the last 6-7 minutes were just awesome.

  8. Walt and Jesse in the desert. Jesse crying as he was being hugged by Walt really brought home how much he had wanted Walt to truly be a father figure, instead of play acting at one.

  9. Walt's "confession" started with what I thought would be a redemptive move on his part only to be turned upside down as one of Walt's most destructive lies ever. I was just stunned through most of that scene.

  10. The carelessness of Todd's uncles -- sleeper element, no? As they left the diner, one of them clogged the toilet with a bloody paper towel. That by itself is really nothing because there could have been a nosebleed or some accidental cut or something, but what about that plus bloody footprints? What about some other oversight resulting from their carelessness later on? All of those guys could cut deals to out Walter -- and they're the link to Walter's worst crimes in this entire story. The murder of all those witnesses at his command. I don't know how many charges that constitutes, but it's substantial.

Of course, Walter crossed several such lines by episode 2 or 3 of the first season.

  11. ALL scenes with Jesse, Walt's video and the lunch scene. The episode was brilliant!

  12. I like Aaron Paul but I have always thought people went overboard when saying his performances 100% were Emmy worthy. But I have to say he was awesome in that scene in the desert. I've kinda gotten tired of him being emotional. But in that scene he had a range of emotions. He was sad, angry at Walt, and desperate for some honesty. After everything him and Walt have been through he was just screaming at Walt to be honest with him for once. You could tell he wasn't even saying he wouldn't leave town. He was open to it. He just wanted some damn honesty for once. And after Walt says Jesse might look back at this as a bad dream Jesse looks deep into his eyes and you can tell Jesse is just amazed that Walt thinks he is that stupid. Best scene in an episode full of them

  13. They sure pack a ton of stuff into one episode. Figured the money for Hank's PT would pop up but not the way it did.

Can we say that Jesse has officially "snapped"?

  14. This episode was totally Jesse's. I loved the desert scene, the dinner one, and Jesse discovering the truth. Damn, things will get SO bad...
