  1. Another great episode. The dark times seem to have passed.

  2. It seems like Junor will be the fourth hand I wonder if next episode Angie will put two and two together and try his hand.

  3. better ep than most for me. I liked the addition of Natalie Zea's character to stir things up and move things along. I still don't buy Junior's logic believing that Angie is sick (and supposedly confirming it in his mind by showing her his "sick" mother's rudimentary painting, the choice of color could've been completely random - it'd be something else if his mother chanted the "pink stars line" while painting) but Junior is off himself, so there's that... I certainly hope that Junior is not the 4th, although I'm sure the painting hints that Angie will suggest that...

  4. Really good episode.. i liked Natalies character a lot. And as for the 4th i think they should bring someone in to be the 4th. Kinda like with Natalies character. They could be an old classmate of Angies whos been visiting and got stuck... But i dont think its Jr. Hes gunna bite the dust before the seasons out. And looks like Angies character is there to stay, being shes a part of it all. Loved the episode though.

  5. Overall good episode.

    - If the fourth hand is Junior (and lets be real it probably will be...) I'll scream.....

    - I thought Max kinda worked nicely. And it was cool to see Jim and Barbie kinda put everything on the table. Also it was interesting to see Jim kinda subordinate to someone.....

    - When Angie started seeking Junior out I was like "NOOOOOO!!!!"

    - Glad to see Linda kinda looking into things and being a little more cautious and suspicious.

    - I usually find Joe/Norrie storylines interesting, but their dynamic can on occasion annoy me (mostly because of Norrie). But today very little annoyance. That was good....

  7. The creators chose exactly the right time to change up a gear. Very pleased with how things are shaping up. Probably the best episode outside of the pilot thus far, but not by much

Does anyone else think that Junior himself made the painting with the pink stars? We never really saw exactly how long Angie was out of it after the seizure and he may have taken the opportunity to throw it together really fast. He is devious and crazy after all and the painting looked like something an 8 year old would do.

  9. Great episode. I was surprised when it turned out Maxine knows both Barbie and Jim. I wonder how Julia will react when she finds out the truth. Note that it's been a while since she's said a thing about her husband--I think she's over him. Still, her boyfriend has been keeping a whopper of a secret from her, so she's gotta be pissed.

I'm starting to trust, and even like, Junior. Apparently his mother had some sort of sixth sense if she was able to predict the stars. It could be genetic. Yes, I think he'll be the fourth hand. Does he have to have seizures, then?

I liked that the butterfly tattoo question we were left with last week was quickly addressed. Butterfly not a monarch. The monarch is not Angie. I suspect it's Junior, and I'm beginning to see him as some kind of hero.

  10. Great episode. Loved seeing Natalia Zea, she is a great actress, her character is very intriguing and definitely very different from Claire from The Following. I was very surprised when we found out she knew Barbie so well, even though I didn't get exactly what their relationship was like. Feel a bit sorry for Julia though but I think Barbie will end up telling her the truth. Angie and Junior had their best episode so far relationship wise because it connected to the main plot, it was great. I really enjoyed the end with Joe, Angie and Nora realizing that they were the keys and that they needed a forth one, it is getting very interesting. Any guesses as to who the forth one will be? I would say Junior but that might be too obvious, no? I think it will be a teen anyway, judging by the fact that all three of them are as well.

  11. I agree with everything you've said. This episode was also an important turnaround for Junior for me, I am starting to like him more and I think he will be very important to the main stroryline - could he be the forth key or would that be too obvious? As for Julia, I also feel sorry for her, but it somehow surprised that only 8 days have passed since the dome came down, it is a bit crazy how shacked up she is with Barbie already. But I like them together so I hope they work it out.

  12. Not a bad theory at all, but I actually think Junior will be involved in the overall myth arc so I am not inclined to believe your theory atm.

  13. I agree 100%, they needed more focus on the myth arc and went right on it.

  14. Why do you think Junior will die? I think they are building up his character long term IMO, I doubt he will die.

  15. The thing with Junior being the forth is that Angie will try that right away so it would erase the mystery pretty fast, I think it is something that will take a bit longer to answer IMO, so it is probably not Junior. I dunno

  16. I would go to the second option, if for no other reason than the first one would solve it pretty soon. Let's see.

  17. The idea has come to me that the fourth person was perhaps supposed to be Alice, Norrie's mom, that's why she appeared in a vision (as Joe did) and is also related to Norrie, as Joe and Angie are related. But being dead, her replacement should be baby Alice. That would be why the dome helped her to be born on time (her dad also appeared in a vision). Well, it's a theory, you know, even if the hand print wouldn't fit the baby's hand...

  18. I think Jr will die because they said theres a major death before the end of the season. Plus if anyone should be next it should be him.

  19. That's a great theory! You might be on to something! It actually had crossed my mind that the baby could be the forth one, but I didn't think about it being a replacement of the other Alice. That would be cool.

  20. I take it when shows always do fake call scenes lol but do they really have to remove the Chevy logo from Big Jim's SUV lol seriously we get it's a Chevy by removing it wont make a difference lol.

Junior being the fourth not in a lifetime lol it be way to easy for us and trust me writers want us to think that but when time comes to reveal it will be someone you didn't see coming and i'm betting it's kid who likes to skate alot and is friends with joe and we only saw him for a few episodes lol also he seems intrigued with the dome so i'm guessing he's the fourth

  21. Great episode.
    1) Max's character was great.
    2) Glad that Linda caught up.
    3) Only episode where I didn't hate Junior.
    4) Dome mystery is getting intense.

One thing though, I haven't read the novel, but I read on various sites that Angie dies right after the dome comes down, so I wonder why they made her the key in the show.

  22. I think it was okay, Maxine spoiled it, and it would have been great. Please, kill Maxine off, not seeing her role in this as important. Just a controlling, freaky bore.

  23. I'm not buying this Max character for one bit. 9 episodes in (8 days has passed, did she say?) and this woman has been lurking around unseen for the whole time... naaaaahhhh

Oh, and then, not only does it turn out she's got Big Jim wrapped round her little finger, it turns out she also knows Barbie... moreover Barbie is working for her... naaaahhhh.

And While I'm on the subject of Barbie... Julia seems to have totally forgotten she had a husband 8 days ago. Any now she's playing housey housey with Barbie. A quick momentary shag due to the intenseness of the situation, I could buy, but anyone else would thing HE was the husband. Realistic... naaaahhhhh

Could Joe carry that huge sphere with the egg in it through the woods?.... naaaahhhhh

    Is this show good?.... naaaaahhhhhh!

  25. Yeah I'd like to see more of that kid too. He's a dude.

  26. I meant the dome appears over Chester's Mill. Poor choice of words.

  27. Ahh actually it makes sense. I should have got your meaning :)
