    This show gets more and more interesting, as does the mystery with Danny's dad. Danny is definitely an enigma and the actor plays this character brilliantly. Aside from genuinely caring about Jo and Lacey, it's really hard to know what goes through his mind. I think Kyle was right about Danny being OK with his Mom taking the fall, until he realized he might be sent to Arizona. Pretty cold. Danny clearly has a lot of pent-up resentment towards his Mom and until he spoke to Rico, I don't think he realized how much she cared about him.

    There's been a lot of speculation about whether or not Danny is a sociopath, but until this recent episode, I didn't think there was a real possibility. Now I'm not sure. I hope the writers doesn't go that route, though, I think it would be hard for many viewers (including myself) to stomach that kind of revelation after viewing him as a charismatic, wrongfully accused protagonist for 1-2 seasons. It would almost feel like a betrayal! It's not like Dexter, where we know from the beginning that the main character is a killer.



    The Jo and Lacey relationship was great in this episode. When they get along, they really bring out the best in each other. I felt bad for both of them when they found out that Danny had been actively lying about the necklace all this time. Especially for Lacey, who already had such a tough time growing to trust him. I'm guessing the next few episodes will be tough for all of them. Danny will have no one to talk to. Lacey will be ostracized by her friends. She also won't have Danny or Jo because she's be mad at Danny,and Jo will be angry that they hid the relationship. Also, both Danny and Lacey seem to have a strained relationship with their parent(s). Rough times.


    There were a lot of great scenes this episode. I loved the Danny/Kyle interactions. Interesting that Kyle would warm up to Danny in the one episode that showed Danny at his worst, although maybe it was because this was the first time Danny was actually honest with him. Also, Danny's reaction to finding out about his Mom and the principal was classic, including the subsequent conversation with the principal.
    This series has really been a pleasant surprise for a summer show!

Twisted has also established from the beginning that Danny killed his aunt and even if he had a reason it looks like it's a reason that requires logical thinking so it only makes sense if Danny IS a sociopath. Also from the beginning they have being suggesting he could be, so you might not like it but I don't think it would be a betrayal at all. And being cold and charismatic it's exactly part of the sociopathic stereotype.

    I like the part when they show Danny as a 11 year old boy. He was not an easy kid. I think being in juvenile really change him. now he is less bitter and more likable.

    I guess I'm still not certain that he killed his aunt. There's also the possibility that he took the blame in order to cover up for someone else like his Dad. The lack of remorse he seems to show over killing of his aunt could definitely be a reflection of sociopathic tendencies, but it could also be because he didn't commit the crime.

    Wether he killed her or not he still has sociopathic behaviour, he barely shows emotion and he was going to let his mom take the blame until he realized that would send him away. I don't think that's a normal response. And I'm farely certain he did kill his aunt, at least I don't see how it would work otherwise, how do you convince a ten-year-old kid to confess to a murder he didn't comit?

    By the sole fact that this is a fictional show rather than real life. I think you'd have to actually be one of the writers to be certain about anything.

    I don't think it's a likely scenario but neither is the one where he takes the blame for someone else. Maybe the writers can find a way to explain what happend in a believable way. At the moment all I know is that Danny said he DID kill his aunt and that he has a reason he doesn't want to talk about.

    I think this was a really solid episode for all three main characters. Except (again) for this show's ongoing depiction of law enforcement, which is incompetent and nonsensical, everything was enjoyable this week.
