Is this an official artwork or fanmade? Because if it is official it's almost an outrage! Nikita is heading into its final season and the CW is uncapable of making a promotional photoshoot? I mean, this "Promotional Key Art" is basically a lousy photoshop work of season one's promotional photos... Ugh.
Can't believe we're only getting 6 episodes, instead of 10-13 for our final season, but I'm trusting the Nikita team to deliver an exciting, action packed last season!
I'll agree the quality is not great, but on the other hand I understand the CW not wanting to spend too much money on a show they are keeping around just for closure's sake.
How surprising - The CW doesn't give enough of a shit about Nikita to put a few bucks into a new promotional photoshoot for the FINAL SEASON (there wasn't one last year either), so instead, they horribly photoshop a bunch of old pictures together. (Look how bad Noah Bean's picture looks, in particular). I'm glad they found time for that in between their sixteenth and seventeenth photoshoots for The Vampire Diaries, though.
For real. People have suggested before that The CW would be wiser to draw a fan contest, and use the best promo artwork submitted to it, since even fanart is better than the crap their graphic designers come up with. I hate that they didn't bother with a new photoshoot for Nikita's final season, but the low quality of their artwork is actually true for all shows. Even the stuff they make for Arrow, their darling at the moment, is horribly photoshopped and makes the actors look like plastic.
Fan arts will make their "official artworks" look like rough drafts. Yeah I saw the Arrow poster and it was so bad too. But the Tomorrow People one and the Originals one look decent, at least on their standard.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Grateful we got a s4 but gutted it's the last. I could have watched this show for years more to come.
ReplyDeleteOk so no new promotional pics since Season 2 and, God, look at Noah Bean's face!
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, thank you CW for a final explosive season!
Maggie's legs :D
ReplyDeleteSo sad that it is ending. And I still find it sad that Sean is not there !

ReplyDeleteSad to see this amazing show end, I wish they don't end it.

ReplyDeleteThis is like far from decent. Look at Noah's face!! Fans can do way better stuff than this.
