“It’s not what this character deserves,” Glasberg shares. “Also, [we killed off] Sasha Alexander’s Kate character [back in Season 2] and I like the idea of doing this one a little different and respecting who [Ziva] is.”
To that end, Glasberg promises viewers will get a rare peek at “what makes Ziva tick” in the two-part swan song, adding, “In the second episode we learn why she’s going to make the decision she’s going to make… We put a lot into that storyline, so I hope it works for people.”

At least it's Ziva's own decision.
ReplyDeleteAnd who else saw that Tweet Michael posted and then quickly deleted? Hoping for a Tiva elopement, but not getting them up too high!
What tweet?
ReplyDeleteThis one: http://31.media.tumblr.com/bb1000ff48a90a103b02b969cf1a6fc7/tumblr_mr53doJyBV1s0143go1_500.jpg
ReplyDeleteThey're in front of a church. Michael deleted it almost immediately after he posted it, but not before fans screencapped it.
If they are not going to kill off Ziva maybe this will open the door to Ziva's return in a future episode or season..
ReplyDelete@klutzy_girl : ziva is a jew. she wouldn't get married in a church...right:)?
ReplyDeleteSo we go from "we're giving everyone what they want" to "I hope it works for people"? Geesh! To be honest, and I am a TIVA fan; I would rather Tony be heartbroken because she was killed rather than have her break his heart by going back to Israel or something like that.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love scruffy face Tony!
ReplyDeleteInteresting pic, considering there have been no set pictures released to date, unlike NCIS-LA. (And Abby's bows and knee-hi's) They are clearly relaxing between takes.
ReplyDeleteNot necessarily. She could get married in a church if she wanted to. And Tony isn't particularly religious anyway.
ReplyDeleteBut we probably shouldn't jump to conclusions anyway.
"We're giving everyone what they want" refers to Tiva and "I hope it works for people" refers to Ziva's exit.
ReplyDeleteAnd I doubt she'll go back to Israel.
yeah...right:D...but when he's not religious he could marry in a synagogue:-D nevermind, we'll see;)
ReplyDeleteI only brought up Israel because Marina Sirtis is in Ep 2. Bugs me.
ReplyDeleteObviously they wanna keep the door open on more Tiva developments, after wherever they leave off
ReplyDeleteWould be a marketing dream for her to guest star down the line
Most importantly: Hellooooooo Michael Weatherly, how you doin'?
ReplyDeleteOk, now, in a more serious tone: I am glad Ziva is not dying, but I am pretty sure the producers would have to worry about their own safety if they killed her off, haahah.
Oh, cool. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHopefully Michael gets some interesting storylines this season, as does Tim.
ReplyDeleteWhat that she's the worst character ever? I mean seriously they made her stupider then a brick, rude and stalking Tony and called it a love story. I'm only hoping if they do bring in a new female character she's less T&A Barbie like Ziva and more real.
ReplyDeleteI had a feeling they weren't going to, but it was comforting to get confirmation.
ReplyDeleteomg omg I'm so happy, I'm so happy... #sarcasm_off
