I've got a The Good Wife vibe from this series, great drama and well-received between the critics.
ReplyDeleteSounds interesting, will wait and see how it comes together. If it comes together.
ReplyDeleteThis could be very well done or very "meh", but we sure could use something West-Wing-y qualitywise nowadays on tv.
ReplyDeleteIs Morgan Freeman the president?
ReplyDeleteIn theory, it sounds like it would make for a good companion of TGW that's for sure... if it will be that good remains to be seen.
ReplyDeleteNot something I will watch, I get enough politics every day.
ReplyDeleteWhenever it involves the White House, us The West Wing fans have mixed feelings. I'd so love to have something like those Bartlet administration days back, but, at the same time, I'm constantly fearing the new show will be a disaster and totally not live up to expectations.
ReplyDeleteIf it's based on whom I think it's based on, then this will be one of the first new CBS shows that I won't be watching. Not a chance in hell.
ReplyDeleteHe should be. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, it IS very hard to be compared to the West Wing, because it was gloriously awesome and absurdly well written and acted, but if they manage to do something at least similar it would be a big win and I would probably watch it.
ReplyDeleteI sorta kinda get the feeling you don't like Hilary! ;)
ReplyDeleteRight...!?
