- OUAT: I like the way they are promoting the neverland arc as a big movie on its own. They should get some promos out with new footage and with this feeling and I think then I will be anticipating the new season quite a lot.
- Revolution: I am really happy that we will dwell more on Rachel this season with her dad on the picture. I am sure EM will blow the scenes out of the park.
- New Girl: I am quite excited to see the Coach. And I am curious: has there ever been a case of a re-casting post pilot that later on results on the original actor coming back to the show, simultaneously to the replacement actor? It's cool but seems odd.
- Bones: I was really loving the Pelant arc up until the ridiculously contrived marriage thing, so now I hope they end it for good and introduce another villain, because that was going too far.
- Grey's: I hope Jo and Alex stick. And from what I am understanding from Shonda, it looks like it will. Glad for him.
Re Grey's: I'm totally on board with Jackson giving April the cold shoulder! Also the Jo/Alex romance is easily one of the storylines I'm more excited with for next year...
Re OUaT: I wouldn't promise big things Eddy... you don't deliver so it's kinda pointless. Lower people's expectations a little. Then, in the off chance you actually might hit the occasional mark, it can be a pleasant surprise. And I'm still pissed about the Robin Hood recast....
Re New Girl: Have I mentioned lately how hyped I am about Coach coming back...
Re Castle: I hate to say it, but I'm kinda over the Esplanie....
Re Revolution: 7th Heaven aside Stephen Collins is actually a pretty damn good actor. So I don't think I will be surprised... just excited to see him!
Re The Newsroom: Well I think it has been pretty evident Dantana was the one who was suing, but it was good to get confirmation... now I wonder who might be quitting... and I do wonder if any of those resignations will be accepted... cause Jerry is clearly getting fired! That much is clear... I think...

Grey's Anatomy: I want Jackson & April to be together but I totally get why Jackson would say no. She had her chance and she blew it and now she's engaged to someone else. I hope Alex & Jo can work out, she deserves it at this point.
OuaT: Hope S3 lives up to the hype they are creating.. About Robin Hood, I hope she doesn't lose his family. The last thing this show needs is another character pining over his loved ones.
Re OUAT: The hype they are creating is finally getting me excited about the show again, now all I need is a promo as good as the one they got for revenge (or at least close to it, since the revenge promo really was out of here) and I will be eager for the show again. However, if they disappoint, it will be a problem. But I am somehow optimistic about this season.
They could have either planned ahead and signed him on for more than one episodes, or they could have introduced another, new character to play out the storyline, or they could have put the story on hold until he was available or anything else that would avoid a recast.
Recasting in primetime is something I don't accept. I'm adamant about that. (It still botheres me like CRAZY that Carol in episode 2 of Friends isn't played by Jane Sibbett... and I love Friends but that still gets me!)
Recasting is something I find sloppy and tacky, and I don't like it. And if a show resorts to recasting, especially a show going into its 3rd season, I have issues taking it seriously....
Well I understand where you are coming from and I certainly dislike recastings as well - I don't think nobody likes them - but I don't feel as strongly about it as you do though.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Great stuff.

Why quadruple post?
ReplyDeleteDisqus was acting weird because they were doing maintenance and I guess their system posted my reply multiple times.
ReplyDeleteAt the mods please delete the extra posts. I tried to but it wasn't working....

To be fair with OUAT, they really have little chance to go around the Robin Hood recast if the actor wasn't available...
