    Well it sure looks good and intriguing, but I can't see how this premise could go beyond one season (or a dozen episodes).

    I can only think that it leads into a much bigger conspiracy theory but that would make the doctor and her family obsolete in future seasons. I actually don't think that would be a bad thing either. I wish The Following had the brass to keep Joe, Claire, and even Ryan dead and let it evolve into a show where each season a new detective was chasing a new serial killer. I would have watched season 2 if they had gone in this direction.

    I think the pilot will be good.... in fact I have very few doubts about that. It's how it survives as a show that worries me....
