Well fuck, this season looks super depressing. I love it. But I can't help but wonder if maybe the show shouldn't go on for much longer or like change the main characters or something even if I love Carrie and Brody there is surely only so much pain they can suffer?
The promo looks promising. Hope this season won't be so slow-pacing and emotion-focused. Of course, there will be tough consequences of the 2nd season's finale on characters and the show must focus on these but the writers should also keep the viewers intrigued and should not drag the emotional side of the consequenses too much.
I like the fact that everything is so intense, I mean if what you want is something lighter I'm pretty sure there are other shows for that, but given the main theme of this one, you can't go with less trauma
I hope this trailer isn't indicative of the entire scope of the season because I really want to see Dana somehow get tangled up with Carrie this season.
This looks A-MA-ZING. I am just unsure on how they are gonna manage to include Brody with the rest of the cast. He's probably gonna have his own storyline for a while, the romantic in me is really hoping he comes back after learning Carrie is in trouble. Is she in jail or in the madhouse again? Thoughts?
It looks amazing!! Looks like another tough year for Carrie. I love that, Claire Danes does such a good job playing all of Carries moods, it is a pleasure to watch.
They won´t kill Brody. Damian Lewis is has a contract for at least season 7 and Showtime will never allow to kill of a character whose actor has won an Emmy for his performance. Besides, Homeland s the relationship between Carrie and Nicholas Brody. If you take on variable out of that equation it will be a different show.
I can't get enough of this trailer, it is making me anticipate the season so much. Excellent job, Showtime. I have a feeling this season will be fabulous, can't wait for it! This cast is out of this world, for real!
I agree 100%, but to be honest, I think Damien Lewis is as good as Claire is, I think he does a masterful job with Brody. Even in the first season when he was the villain, he made him crazily human, that's a tremendous thing to do IMO!
Yeah I think that he will have his own thing going for at least half of the season. But then again, I never thought that Saul would find out the truth about Brody as early as 2x02, so, we never know with this show!
It's true. I think the whole tragedy is the fact that Brody got away with it when he actually planned for something like this to happen but is now being chased when he had nothing to do with it. It's tragic.
I am sure they didn't kill Brody so soon as in this promo, but I doubt they can sustain him on the show for 7 years. Damien is out of this world in his performance as Brody and that is why he was kept this year IMO and I am 100% glad that has happened. However, while I agree with you that Homeland is a lot about Brody-Carrie and that if you take it out it will be a completely different show, I doubt they can hold 7 years of Brody with him remaining an interesting character. I hope to be wrong but I doubt it.
Oh, I agree, Damien Lewis is doing a magnificent job as Brody. The two of them together is nothing less than brilliant. I also like the actor playing Saul, another great casting.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
This is going to be so intense. I can't wiat
