When Hart of Dixie picks up, lovebirds
Lavon and Annabeth (the newly
promoted Kaitlyn Black ) are “still happily
together,” showrunner Leila Gerstein
shared recently with TVLine, “but having
some tension because his demanding
cousin has moved in.”
Said troublemaker, we’ve learned exclusively, will be played by newcomer Antoinette Robertson ( Zero Hour, A Gifted Man).
Her character, Lynly, is described as “beautiful yet spoiled and clueless.”

“beautiful yet spoiled and clueless."
ReplyDeleteThat's not encouraging. It makes her seem like another Lemon Breeland.
I'm thinking more Magnolia... but on the more annoying side, cause I get a feeling this girl is not 15 year old teenager where it can be excused....
ReplyDeleteEither way, it's not good. I'd prefer it if they would focus on the characters who already live in Bluebell instead of bringing in all these outsiders. The show has so many fun recurring characters that its a waste to keep them of the shelf in favor of these guest stars that never amount to anything.
ReplyDeleteAgreed...
ReplyDeleteThere are exceptions, of course. I like Lavon's parents and I don't mind Lavon's rivalry with Mayor Gainey either. I also don't mind Zoe's parents or Tansy's brothers.
ReplyDeleteI'm good as long as Ruby doesn't come back.
ReplyDeleteAntoinette Robertson ("Lynly") is gonna do just great. Nothing wrong with adding new characters to the formula. That's like meeting new people who're actually cool to hang around (even the crazy ones). So, go ahead Antoinette, step into your Blessing ;-) ♥ GOD IS & GREAT! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI think that's because those are characters that were introduced in the two first establishing seasons of the show you connect and relate with them.
ReplyDeleteAt this point one would hope that would be the pool of characters they'd be puling their guest stars from instead of adding new ones.

ReplyDeletebe puling their guest stars from instead of adding new ones, that's the
difference."
I couldn't agree more.
