ReplyDeleteI can see the comparison, but honestly I think what really interesting about TBBT is that Penny is NOT a bimbo... and she is pretty, but she's not super-special-stunning gorgeous. She's next door-girl pretty...
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like these two guys are out of this word hot, and that the girl's also hot.... which makes this show VERY conventional....
You know what would have made this show somewhat interesting and different? If the girl wasn't intended to be "merely very attractive"...
ReplyDeleteI have a huge spiel about how guys on TV can me so-so looking while the women all have to be attractive... especially in traditional sit-coms.
