It's sad but I agree. It's not the same without Cory.
ReplyDeleteI was expecting this.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness, it was just not good anymore plus it will never be the same again after Cory's death.
ReplyDeleteMy thought was that after Seasons 5-6, Season 7 will be the Final Season. But Season 6 as the final season i'm ok with that. Even though i really like the show, i'm glad it's ending.
ReplyDeletethe final seasons are not gonna be the same at all without Cory. I don't know what the writers are gonna have happen since Finn and Rachel were kind of a major plot point. I personally think they should have forgotten about season 6 and just ended with 5
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking it since it got that double season renewal back in spring. Well, at least they get give the show a proper ending this way.
ReplyDeleteThis is a good choice, considering Cory's death it would be the best to end it; of course, as it's already been renewed let it play the 2 seasons it has left, craft a good series finale and be glad that you made it to 6 seasons and a movie. Seriously, 6 seasons is a good number of seasons for an ending
ReplyDeleteYeah after they did the double season renewal it felt like they were preparing for an ending.
ReplyDeleteI expected this, honestly, and I'm glad. It's going to be so strange without Cory, both on the show and off, and I don't know that the hearts of the cast will totally be in it anymore.
ReplyDeleteI knew it when fox renewed it for two season of course 6 will be the last! it will be missed!
ReplyDeleteIn an honesty, I believe this is the best for everyone. For the cast, who by now have a good enough exposure to go on with their careers; for Lea in particular, so she won't be stuck in a show that certainly brings so many memories; and for the writers and creators, who can wrap the story up and not be forced to carry on a show in with a totally different focus.
ReplyDeleteNow tell me something I don't know.
ReplyDeleteThat's about time!
ReplyDeleteThat is certainly on the plus side. Knowing they are working with a certain projection might give them focus.
ReplyDeleteUpon hearing about the double-renewal, I was pretty sure Glee would be one of those shows that would last way longer than any fan would want, but I think it's good that they are ending it after the 6th season. At least the fans can get a proper ending to this iconic series.
ReplyDeleteSeason 4 wasn't any good as it was so I'm glad I feel like this should be the end after season 5 but they don't have enough time to wrap it up. The thing I don't like is the idea that Glee isn't worth watching without Cory and While his death was tragic I wasn't a huge fan of his or Finn's and I see no reason why if not written in the right way the show can't continue much further without him. In all honesty this decision makes me think the FOX didn't think much of the shows chances without him and I see that as an insult to the cast. Cory's death like I said was tragic but he nor Finn was Glee.
ReplyDeleteI agree, I think the fans are overplaying Finn Hudson's importance on the show.
ReplyDeletewhy are people saying it's not the same without cory. we haven't even seen glee without cory. but i do agree it should finish. unless they pull out something spectacular in the next two seasons and find a way to go back to it's roots, the show just needs to die.
ReplyDeleteI don't watch but it caught my attention, I wonder if this based on Cory or it was already planned.
