Thanks to Sai for the heads up.

• Impractical footwear alert! But we’ll totally allow it.
• Castle returns from a 12-city/11-day book tour to find not one but two surprises waiting for him at the loft.
• A major character gets shot, several times.
• A major character is involved in a car crash.
• Ryan is determined to be a master swaddler.
• As previously scooped by the Inside Line: Tory’s back!
• Alexis’ new, fruitarian boyfriend Pi makes a damn juicy papaya steak.
• There’s a pretty jarring (if pretty improbable) fake-out.
• Apparently there is a particular red wine that puts [spoiler] in a particular “mood.”
• The premiere ends with a major character’s life in tremendous jeopardy. “To Be Continued….”

  1. Ok, let's see:

    • Impractical footwear alert! But we’ll totally allow it. - Totally Beckett.
    • Castle returns from a 12-city/11-day book tour to find not one but two surprises waiting for him at the loft. - Alexis and her new boyfriend.
    • A major character gets shot, several times. - WHOOOOOO???
    • A major character is involved in a car crash. - WHOOOOO???
    • Ryan is determined to be a master swaddler. - Oh, he is totally gonna have on of those fake babies.
    • As previously scooped by the Inside Line: Tory’s back! - Who the hell is Tory again?
    • Alexis’ new, fruitarian boyfriend Pi makes a damn juicy papaya steak. - I don't care.
    • There’s a pretty jarring (if pretty improbable) fake-out. ?? Any ideas?
    • Apparently there is a particular red wine that puts [spoiler] in a particular “mood.” - Beckett? Lanie?
    • The premiere ends with a major character’s life in tremendous jeopardy. “To Be Continued….” - Probably the one who got shot, but could also be the one in the car crash, assuming they aren't the same person being shot at and then crashing the car (that would be overkill, no pun intended).

  2. Castle will be shot. My gut's teling me that.

  3. I would agree that it could be Castle, but the problem is if he is between life and death, wouldn't Beckett leave DC already to be with him? We know that she stays in DC for some episodes, so I don't think it is Castle, even though that would have been a great storyline IMO.

  4. Tory is the new techgirl!

  5. I agree mostly with your picks. However, I think that the both surprises are that Alexis brought this Pi guy home and that Meredith will be there. (A few weeks back Darby Steinfield tweeted something that included "Deep Fried Twinkie" and also on the Script Page that was posted one sentence says "Mom say feds are here", which also leads me to assume that maybe Beckett got into a car crash, however, I do think that it is only a minor car crash). However, I might also be very wrong.

  6. I just have this story in my head that on the swings Beckett tells him about the job, that she's taking it, and her answer to his proposal is 'not yet', then he gets shot, but he's wearing west, so he ends up only with couple of nasty bruises, but this situation causes Beckett to change her mind and she accepts the proposal. They talk and agree to try long-distance relationship. She goes to DC, but after a while she discovers, that working in FBI is not for her, that she misses Castle, her friends, the 12th and she goes back to NY and our lovebirds continue to solve crimes together!

  7. However I ship Esplanie almost as much as Caskett, Espo and Tory looks hot together!

  8. Why would he be wearing a vest?

You have all this played out in your head? You have some imagination.

  9. ..... and this is ALL in episode 1? oh damn, that's some dramatic stuff!

    ReplyDelete
  10. "Why would he be wearing a vest?" - because he's a civilian NYPD consultant ^^
As to my imagination, thank you!

  11. We really don't know if she is in D.C. in the first episode. We know she is there for some duration but all we are all assuming its the first three episodes.....

  12. Oh of course he is but what i'm asking is why is he wearing a vest when he is asking her to marry him? I'm asking that because i might have forgotten something from the finale.I wasn't being a smart ass.

  13. Hahah, no! They talk on the swings and she says 'not yet'. Castle gets shot later when he helps Ryan and Esposito with another case (Beckett's already in DC or maybe not yet...).

  14. LOL. Totally agree, if the same character was shot several times and in a car crush that would be an unlucky SOB

so it means that this season the special episode "two-part" will be the 6x01 and 6x02?

Nobody restricts them to write only one double episode story per season. It's Marlowe's preference who thinks first about the syndicate airings and only then about the current viewers. And no, it's not my opinion, he himself said it when he was questioned in S4 about the lack of continuity between episodes.

  19. I'm with you with regards to most of these

    • A major character gets shot, several times. - WHOOOOOO???
    • A major character is involved in a car crash. - WHOOOOO???

    - I'm thinking one of these will be either Javi or Kevin....

    • Ryan is determined to be a master swaddler. - Oh, he is totally gonna have on of those fake babies.
    - I thought the fake baby bit was confirmed?

    • Apparently there is a particular red wine that puts [spoiler] in a particular “mood.” - Beckett? Lanie?
    - Martha gets my vote.

  20. It's not Martha. It's Beckett (confirmed by another reviewer).

  21. Mom is not Meredith. It's Martha. How do I know? Look back at the call sheet -- Darby's name is not listed.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Actually, Marlowe has already said it's a yes or no answer

    ReplyDelete
  23. the person who is shot is the not the same person who's in the car accident (confirmed by another reviewer)

  24. oh good, but now we have two people to worry about
