This is a great season of Burn Notice. I am a dude. So obviously, I like to watch more of the espionage type stuff, but last season's interaction between Michael and Fiona was really great.
In all honesty, last season was how the show should have ended. The entire premise of the show is his burn notice and he figured it all out last season, but I am so grateful that I still have this show to watch every Thursday.
James is a great villain, if he is even the real villain.
The lines between good and evil are so blurred this season and it makes it great.
Thanks to USA for giving us one more year of Michael and co. I hope that they do it again.
I agree. James may perhaps go down as the greatest "villain" the show has had. In my mind... Larry is the bad guy we've all loved to hate for all the years this show has been around. James may not be able to pass him in just one season, but if things go down in the "tone" I want to see.... I hope to see a very emotional Michale Weston at the end facing off against James.
It's sad this show is ending this season, but I do agree with your other point. This show was about Michale's "burn notice." This season is, in a way, a step beyond that. It's only connection to it is the hope that the results of this season can finally let him close the book on his spy life and move on.
I'd love to watch Michale, Jessie & Sam (especially Sam :) ... ) for many more years, but I also believe the best TV shows are those that keep it tight (in terms of story and seasons) and are able to go out with a meaningful end. Some of my favorite shows threw away so many seasons because they lost all sense of direction after 3-5 seasons. So I'm glad the show is going to end. I just hope we get a good ending that ties everything together :)
4th to last episode and Michael looks like he's being asked to kill Sam. He seems to be willing to do anything unless it's actually Fiona he has to kill. Sonya doesn't care for sex, she likes to kill people.
That's what they want you to think but I think it is someone else. Story previews say that Sam and Jesse are working on a gang problem elsewhere in the city. And "an old friend" of Michael's has surfaced, digging around for some answers to questions. Got a feeling he is the target. Could be wrong. Just my thoughts based on MY digging around! :)
And the big question is who is the "friend" that Michael is supposed to kill. There are half a dozen former characters that I would love to make a cameo again but I'm not sure any of them could be called friend. Still holding out hope it is Seymour.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
