Just so you know, this is a limited series anyways, after this finished, Resurrection will premiere on ABC, which critics have said is really quite good.
I just meant it in the way that if u don't like it, it's likely given the fact the most shows on ABC at 10 have ended after thirteen episodes e.g. 666 Park Avenue and Red Widow
Neither of those shows were limited series. 666 was cancelled and wasn't given the 9-episode back order. The writers were informed before hand so they could rework the 13th episode into a series finale. Widow's first season was like Scandal's, had it gotten better ratings, it would have been given a full season pickup for the coming TV year.
Lol right, sorry about that, it was just the way they were advertised, I see that now, since Under the Dome was proposed as limited series but due to high ratings its been renewed for a second season
No need to apologize. I wasn't interested in Under the Dome from the beginning, but since I had nothing to watch in the summer, I thought I'd give it a try, thing it was a limited series. I was kinda disappointed when it got renewed, but I won't stop watching. I did some searching and found out that it was planned as a limited series for Showtime, but CBS looked at it as a possible regular summer show. Especially, near the premiere, CBS's Entertainment Executive Nina Tassler called it a show that could run for years
Yeah I really want to know more about the show but with the 2nd season renewal I suppose it may drag on, but I'll keep watching along with the other 10 million or so viewers
I for one will sure be checking it out. It may not be as good as Revenge but it sure will have some strongpoints...And now I've seen James Cromwell, another reason to watch. Seems startling to me tbh.
I'll try to watch it, I love Stuart Townsend and it's nice to see him back on ABC... I still miss Night Stalker after all these years. But this looks more depressing than anything, I doubt I'll see more than the pilot.
The shows had some really good reviews for the moment, but Betrayal is more a cable show than a network show... I am not sure about this one for ABC : /
I don't see this working, but well, everyone was writing off Revenge two years ago and here we are. Still, I proud myself for having been one of the few who loved Revenge ever since the first trailer and thought it had potential, and I don't see it here. But... it could appeal very much to most of the Revenge's audience, so I guess its survival depends on whether or not Revenge can recover from its season 2 ratings.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
This show has CANCELLATION written all over it. Not to mention that Sundays at 10PM timeslot on ABC...

ReplyDeleteIt is limited series in the sense that it will have 13 episodes per season (like Hannibal and The Following), instead of the usual 22 to 24.

ReplyDeleteSolid cast, but I really don't think this show has any real future....

ReplyDeleteReally? Everywhere I've read people have been giving bad reviews to this show.
