No they can't. Because that was Bart Allen, this is Barry Allen. They need a new actor for the part, some tall and blond actor in his mid to late 20s - early 30s. The actor that played Bart in Smallville doesn't even remotely fit the role of Barry, he's looks like a teenager! Which is why he was perfect for the role of Bart, but not for Barry.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Is this pretty well known?
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean?
ReplyDeleteWell here we go. I really hope this works in Arrow's more grounded, realistic setting.
ReplyDeleteThe CW said it during TCA earlier this week. But i dont care.
ReplyDeleteAlready know this.
ReplyDeleteOh, can't wait :)
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see reader suggestions for the role. Maybe it should be a daily poll.
ReplyDeleteAny other new info on the casting notice?
ReplyDeletecan;'t they just cast the actor from smallville flash?

ReplyDeleteI can see Wilson Bethel in the role, but I refuse to lose Wade on HoD. He's basically half the show at this point.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Matt Barr or Jake Abel?
Eh. Maybe. I could see all of them as The Flash. I'm having a more difficult time seeing any of them as a doctor.
ReplyDeleteAaron Tveit though? He could do geeky....
ReplyDeleteThough let be honest here.... it's the CW they'll probably just slap on a pair of glasses and say that makes the guy look "doctor-y" enough.
OH! Another suggestion (though a little older....): Neil Jackson!
