Oh hell yes!!! This is a busy year for sci-fi/fantasy/horror shows, I have so much to look forward to. This, then a couple weeks later American Horror Story and OUATiW and Sleepy Hollow is premiering a couple of weeks before this, and then this same week (I think) is The Tomorrow People, and then in November we get Almost Human. w00t!
What makes this so interesting for me is that the witches in this show are immortal which I think hasn't been done before. I'm a sucker for anything that revolves around witchcraft and I'm really excited to see what the mythology of this show looks like.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I have the book, but I really need to read it before this then.

ReplyDeleteSame here, well, I have the ebook, I've been opening it up at work on my computer every day at work but I'm only about a chapter in. :/
ReplyDeleteI've tried to read the book several times, but I end up quitting every time I get too frustrated. Updike writes really weird women.
ReplyDeleteYou're thinking Eastwick, this is East End, the books are by Melissa de la Cruz. :)

ReplyDeleteI really didn't like the book or its sequel. I still can't believe they are doing a show based on it. I hope the show is better than the books
