For the 2012/13 season Bob's Burgers was the best show on Fox followed by Raising Hope and The Following. I had them in my Top 50 at 9, 10 and 13 respectfully.
IMO nothing is really amazing currently. Without House on the roaster I barely watch anything from Fox anymore.
Some of the comedies are fun, so I guess I'll cast a vote for Raising Hope (which is adorable, and I do love it, but I am realistic and honest enough to claim it's far from perfect), New Girl (which I do enjoy a lot, but objectively I don't think it's as amazing a show as people make it out to be) and the Mindy Project (which is cute, but not great).
Two shows I can't talk about because I haven't had the time to watch yet, but might be good so I'll give them honorable mentions: The Following and The Goodwin Games.
24 The O.C. New Amsterdam The Mob Doctor Mental Lie to Me K-Ville The Inside Human Target House The Chicago Code Boston Public John Doe Killer Instinct Bones The Following 21 Jump Street Married... with Children Standoff Prison Break Point Pleasant
Okay, being the perfectionist that I am (and I can't help it), the show is called "New Girl", not "The New Girl"... And also, this list lacks a lot of shows, it doesn't even cover half of all FOX shows. My favorite - that I wasn't able to vote for - is 24, which has been announced to return and in my opinion should be on this list, but out of these options I said "The Simpsons", "The Following" and "The Goodwin Games".
If we're still calling it current, The Goodwin Games is my favorite current show on FOX. Raising Hope is my current favorite, if not (however, I only just started seeing some random New Girl episodes from the more recent seasons, and I'm shocked at just how much it has improved since those first few episodes I watched; I could easily see it being my favorite if it is this strong throughout the other episodes I haven't seen).
My favorite FOX show of all time though is Wonderfalls. Shame it never got to air in its entirety on the network.
24: Live Another Day, for one. The Goodwin Games is not a current show anymore - cancelled. This may have been submitted way before it was cancelled, though, so I'll let that pass, but I believe 24 was confirmed to return a long time ago. :)
Wow. I never realized how little I actually like on Fox. I went to their schedule page to see if I just didn't like the shows listed here but of the Fox shows I watched last year, they were either cancelled or I don't intend to watch them next season. Here's hoping that Almost Human and Sleepy Hollow will end up being appointment TV.
Not really any of these shows. Was Fringe however the last season is taking forever to get down here. Even though I haven't seen it yet I put my bets on the following. I also liked the Simpsons when I was younger, kinda still do :)
Bob's Burgers presently - I'm with @AljosaMudri - best past show is def. X-Files :) Glee hasn't been good since season one, though my sympathies to the fans who still watch
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteDue to recent events, Glee's future is in no way guaranteed.
ReplyDeleteSimpsons and Glee/ past show: X-Files
ReplyDeleteBob's Burgers, easily. New Girl was also very entertaining during season 2.
ReplyDeleteNew Girl
ReplyDeleteThe X-Files forever!
ReplyDeleteNew Girl & The Mindy Project.
ReplyDeleteNew Girl
ReplyDeleteFringe!!!!
ReplyDeleteGuess this poll reminds me how little I watch on Fox. Only The Following!
ReplyDeleteIf Fringe was still on, that would definitely have been the best show on FOX. but as it is not, the next best is The Following.
ReplyDeleteOuch. Seems like I don't watch any Fox (at least until I've checked out The Following)
ReplyDeleteNone of the above. 24 and Fringe. I used to watch quite a few shows on FOX, but currently they have nothing that interests me.
ReplyDeleteF R I N G E !!!!!!
ReplyDeletebones and the following. Fringe was good for the first 4 seasons and then season 5 was crap
ReplyDeleteFringe
ReplyDeleteBones and New Girl and I will give a chance to Almost Human and Sleepy Hollow
ReplyDeleteFringe
ReplyDeleteNew Girl. Past shows: House and Fringe
ReplyDeleteRaising Hope. It's a shame that it's such mistreated by FOX (burning off episodes, not enough promotion etc.).
ReplyDeleteGo New Girl!
ReplyDeleteFrom the ones above I watch/watched only 3: Bones, New Girl and Glee.
ReplyDeleteBased on what is currently on air, The Following.

ReplyDeleteFringe! And 24 is a solid second!
ReplyDeleteNone of the above... Fringe is by far the best show on FOX!!
ReplyDeleteBones is the best show for a drama. New Girl for Comedy tied with the Simpsons.

Of what's currently on, New Girl as its the only thing left on Fox I watch. But of all time? 24 and Fringe, no question.

K-Ville
The Inside
Human Target
House
The Chicago Code
Boston Public

ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you about Bones. It's gone done in quality each of the last 3 seasons.
ReplyDeleteIf we're still calling it current, The Goodwin Games is my favorite current show on FOX. Sisters Deschanel winning the poll. They certainly deserve.
ReplyDeleteBones is my favorite show and New Girl is great for sure.
What shows are missing? This is obviously for currently FOX shows only.
ReplyDelete24: Live Another Day, for one. The Goodwin Games is not a current show anymore - cancelled. This may have been submitted way before it was cancelled, though, so I'll let that pass, but I believe 24 was confirmed to return a long time ago. :)
ReplyDeleteI have voted for the three shows that I do watch: New Girl, The Following and Bones

ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing. New Girl is the only show I really watch on Fox.
ReplyDeleteAs of right now? The Mindy Project and The Following.
ReplyDeleteShows past... Fringe, The X-Files, Arrested Development, Dark Angel, Point Pleasant, The Inside, Drive and I could go on forever. :)
And as of this fall, if the trailers are a safe indication, Sleepy Hollow and Almost Human will be my two favorite shows on FOX.
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
ReplyDeleteNone, Firefly. Then Simpsons.
ReplyDeleteFor me is:
ReplyDelete1 - Family Guy
2 - New Girl
3 - Glee
4 - The Goodwin Games
Just Bones of the current crop. A few of the upcoming year's but we'll see how long that lasts.
ReplyDeleteThe Following by a mile!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not Glee, which is like a major crapfest right now.
ReplyDeleteOnly watch one show on Fox..The Following.
ReplyDeleteNot really any of these shows. Was Fringe however the last season is taking forever to get down here. Even though I haven't seen it yet I put my bets on the following. I also liked the Simpsons when I was younger, kinda still do :)
ReplyDeleteI think that is just current shows, if not, there would be a ton missing.
ReplyDeleteBut I don't really love any of the current ones, Fox doesn't capture my attention like it used to.
New Girl and The Mindy Project are pretty much the only ones I saw every week, so I'm voting fro them.
Bob's Burgers presently - I'm with @AljosaMudri - best past show is def. X-Files :) Glee hasn't been good since season one, though my sympathies to the fans who still watch
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
