Romance is on the way for Barbie and Julia. Following a screening of Monday's episode that ends with a big moment for the duo. "Jack Bender, who directed [Monday's episode], said, 'Guys, this is your Adam and Eve moment," Lefevre said, noting the series would stay true to the chemistry that exists between the pair. "There's been all this destruction, and this is the beginning of something. They have a long way to go and a lot to talk about, but there's something there that's very hard to deny."
Vogel previewed that Barbie's secrets will eventually come out, forcing the guy who has been a hero in Chester's Mill to do a lot of explaining. "He certainly complicates things that much more," he said. "There's a lot of accusations brought against Barbie, but people are going to have to look past a lot of the good that he's done while he's been here so he'll have to reconcile that."

ReplyDelete1. Blech! I was kind of hoping Junior and Julia would be trapped in a cave-in and just disappear for several episodes in a row.
ReplyDelete2. I wonder if this means they will find Peter's body. I can't imagine Julia getting it on once she knows Barbie killed her husband, even in self-defense.
3. Hmm, so are we going to find out that mom is not really dead but actually insane? Or maybe dead but insane first. They still have not earned Junior's crazy so any explanation here is better.
4. Glad we're going to get answers about the big town secret this season. I'm finding the pace a little slow right now and need them to start parceling out info sooner rather than later.
5. Well that might be the biggest spoiler of them all. Angie gets out but dies? I hope that's what it means because more Angie in captivity is not going to do it for me. Sorry she's not going to take Junior out with her but at least no more bunker scenes.
6. Oddly enough I really don't care if the dome is a sphere or not. There are far more interesting questions that I hope will be answered instead.
7 & 8. After the second set of demo ratings came out there was no real question that the show would get a season 2, but next summer is an awful long time to wait to resolve a massive cliffhanger.

ReplyDelete- I go back and forth on the Barbie/Julia. I mean the chemistry is there but A) she bugs me and B) with how he's involved in with her husband, I just don't see it working...
- As much as I hate Junior, getting some backstory might be interesting. If it heavily involves Big Jim too, at east it will be tolerable.
- Glad we're getting answers on the drug/propane whatnot...
- Poor Angie. Can't catch a break and not long for this world.
- I've been curious if it is a sphere or not, but it's not a question I'm absolute need to get an answer to.
- Not surprised about the cliffhanger or the S2 prospects.... so that I won't consider as real "news"
