According to the casting sides for episode 1.09 of Under the Dome, Junior's mother was an artist. After Junior witnesses Angie having a seizure and saying, "The pink stars are falling in lines," he remembers a painting his mother painted after she awoke from a dream of Junior standing on a hill looking up. He shows Angie the painting, of pink stars falling through the sky. Also, Big Jim helps Angie to become the new owner of the Sweetbriar Rose.

ReplyDeleteIn exchange for keeping her mouth shut about what happened to her, I assume.
Yep,exactly!
ReplyDeleteIts amazing it doesn't seem to bother angie at all that she was held captive by junior for days and that big jim only let her out when he thought they were all dead.
ReplyDeleteyah i am not sure i can accept that one. that is taking the suspension of disbelief a little far for me.
ReplyDeleteThey are stuck in a dome and Big Jim is "the man"... there's not a whole lot she can do.
ReplyDeleteThe Big Jim's family are very suspicious.
ReplyDeleteSo Angie let's all that slide for a bar which she has no use for since they are all trapped? Dafuq?
ReplyDeleteSay what? This makes little sense to me. Why would Angie want anything to do with Evil Jim and his family? Shouldn't someone be told that Junior is drinking the crazy? And what would stop him from kidnapping her again whenever he feels like it? Not sure I can believe this plot line at all, especially since it seems that Angie and Junior are still talking to each other.
ReplyDeleteInteresting how Junior's presumably crazy mother (I mean the entire family is so far) also is connected to the dome. Not shocked that Angie has seizures too but I will be severely unhappy if it ends up that Norrie is in any way related to them.
And yet it still makes no sense. What's to keep Junior from kidnapping her again and why is she still hanging around him to talk about his mother?
ReplyDeleteShe can tell Linda that Junior kidnapped her and get him locked up so he doesn't kidnap her again or murder her in the future.
ReplyDeleteHe didn't even tell her about the shelter so it sounds like letting her out was his way of assuring she would die.
ReplyDelete"What's to keep Junior from kidnapping her again and why is she still hanging around him to talk about his mother?"
ReplyDeleteBecause they wrote themselves into a corner by not killing her off, they didn't figure out a believable way to remedy the situation, and they're hoping the audience will largely overlook this fact amidst all the chaos?
Ha! Ye olde plot device - the gift that keeps regifting. Bah!
ReplyDeleteHopefully she has a seizure when she touched her brother or the red hair girl because otherwise it doesn't make sense why she went for days without having them then sudden starts.
ReplyDeleteVery much agree with that. Only other way they could justify it is that she did have seizures but no one saw them in the bunker.
ReplyDeleteObviously.
ReplyDeleteOMG! Angie's still alive! I'm officially in shock!
ReplyDeleteYeah, she managed to the penultimate episode! Her version of the book would be so envy...
ReplyDeleteI don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but in the current beginning sequence when it shows the airplane that crashed "inside" the dome the shape of the dome as it crashed was as it would have been crashing outside of it. LOL
