ReplyDelete.
Joe and Norrie find the "mini dome" in the woods in episode 7. From this press release description, it looks like a scene may occur in this episode that later referred to in a scene in episode 9 (at least according to the casting sides): In that episode 9 scene, Norrie asks Joe what it meant when his "apparition" told Julia, "The monarch will be crowned." Regarding Junior's mother, in the casting sides Junior tells Ollie in episode 8 that his mother died in a tragic accident, but it sounds like that's simply what Junior was told and then he finds out what really happened (which wasn't specified in the sides).

Junior stands up to his father and is shattered when he discovers the truth about his mother’s past. First thing that came to my mind: Evil Jm killed her.
ReplyDeleteBig Jim probably killed her or Junior did accidentally when he was younger.
ReplyDeleteCurious about this ''mini-dome'' though. Any clue on what it is?

ReplyDelete.
The casting sides describe what it looks like - a smaller version of the dome covering the town - but don't specifically say what the mini-dome is (whether it created the dome over the town, or vice-versa, or whether they were both created by something/one else), but they do say that the mini-dome can disappear and reappear in a different location. The mini-dome is small enough to fit in a pile of hay in a horse stall, because that’s one of the places it appears, according to the casting sides.

I'm guessing his mom did not really die but has been locked up in a mental institution. Or if she did die, it was suicide.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is that Evil Jim went full-on evil after her "death". She might very well be living in Bora Bora with the lover she left Jim for. I am guessing he was arrogant and a bit of a bully to her but I don't think he purposely killed her.
ReplyDeleteThanks, that clarifies it a bit! :)
ReplyDeleteBut, now I end up with more questions... the mini-dome can apparently move around?
Well, either that, or it can be physically picked up and moved from place to place and people just don't remember moving it. I say that because Joe, Norrie, etc. are surprised when it's gone from one location and shows up somewhere else.
ReplyDeleteHmm, could be. Joe was moving during his seizure and had no recollection of it afterwards.
ReplyDeleteInteresting.... I wonder if the dome is like a Tesla ball, and the mini dome is the center thingy.... (as you can all tell I know my Tesla balls very very well.... regardless, I hope you know what I'm referring to...)
ReplyDeleteMaybe the mini-dome is protecting the generator of the dome. And by all the descriptions, I'm believing that the dome is indeed alien.
