What the hell is there to think about? Must be trying to figure out why he never expected his son could do something like that, and two,how to keep his son from getting arrested and making him look bad and having people in his business...
"What the hell is there to think about?" Just like with everything else, Jim is worried about how this situation will reflect on him in the public eye. It wouldn't surprise me if he just leaves her down there.
"Because he's insane." As obviously is his dad, honey. I knew he was going to be more interested in protecting his image than protecting Angie. At least we know she gets out. To be there is no where to hide from the crazy in a dome.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Psychos! Let the girl out!

Of course how it affects him, that's what i meant about people getting into his business,as in life.He always thinks about how he is perceived.
