Meanwhile, Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) arrives at vamp camp, looking to inflict serious human damage. In Bon Temps, friends and family take emotional turns remembering a fallen neighbor. Bill feels the pull of Lilith’s (Jessica Clark) sirens.

ReplyDeleteIs it just me or does that sound like there's pretty much no progress in the story in the next episode?
ReplyDeleteI mean, this press release could easily be for episode 8. And since it's not, episode 8 kinda sounds like a filler.
Still, I hope I'm wrong and this is just an impression.
That's the impression I got. That's not a good sign considering most people though this past episode was filler too.
ReplyDeleteI'm now worried that Brian Buckner isn't going to resolve anything at the end of this season. A lot of the actors say it will go back to being one show again at the end, I just don't see how. I guess we'll have an idea when the finale press release is released. I don't want them dragging Lilith, Vamp Camp, and maybe even Warlow into next season.
ReplyDeleteIt does sound that way, but they also didn't really mention many of the characters, so it could be vague or a little redundant to keep us off the beaten track (At least I hope so!!).
ReplyDeleteI don't mind so much if Lilith and Warlow stories carry one a little further, because it seems like Lilith is the lead in for what ever the end of True Blood is going to be in relation to the spiritual stuff, but I do hope we get done with Vamp camp by the end of this episode. It time to see them all out and about again.
ReplyDeleteDon't get me wrong, I hope Lilith or Billith leads to something else and that this somehow becomes secondary, but Lilith's purpose does strike me as 'the beginning of the end' of things...
Can we get a fucking story up here for Tara, jeez
