I frankly didn't think any of the promos for this show was any good, but since I just love comedies, I will check the first episode out to make up my mind.
Seeing as the Millers is a traditional sit com, which means (easier and more flexible schedule) and factoring in that the Americans is a shorter run cable series, I think her showing up on The Americans again is very doable. So I wouldn't worry about how this will affect her presence on that show.
Hmm, yeah? Because from what I gathered from interviews et al, is that she was written off the Americans because of The Millers possibly being picked up to series.
What I took from all the interviews (and it may have been my denial, I don't dismiss that) is that they weren't writing her out per se. They just weren't writing for her specifically, and that the door is still very much open.
My point was that scheduling between a sitcom and a 10-13 episode cable show can be arranged if all parties are willing. So I wouldn't dismiss her showing up on the Americans even if The Millers picks up it's pace.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I don't think this promo looks funny at all but the first ones still make me very interested. I will check it out.

ReplyDeleteFrom reviews. at least it's better than We Are Men! But that's more of the cast than anything else.
ReplyDeleteI love Margo....
ReplyDeleteYeah, me too, is it bad I kinda hope this flops so she can go back to The Americans? :-/

That's a fair point! I'll keep my fingers crossed in any case. :)
