Ooh, yay! I'm glad SPN is airing a week earlier than originally planned. A+ decision, CW.
ReplyDeletewell, that's a pleasant surprise
ReplyDeleteEarlier premiere for Arrow/TTP? No? OK then.
ReplyDeleteWeek earlier for Supernatural can't complain about that,
ReplyDeleteThis is the best news about SN. I am going to the Toronto Con right after the premiere. We will have something to talk about.
ReplyDeleteThis is kinda cool, I was a little worried the premieres had been moved up to September, which would have sucked considering how insane mid-to-late September is in the TV universe.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to make Supernatural fans very happy.
ReplyDeleteI think premiering Originals behind Vampire Diaries is a smart plan. Since it is the show the CW has most riding on this season, giving it more exposure makes more sense. It is rather odd to have the premiere air on Thursday and then the second episode 5 days later on Tuesday but I bet it gets a lot of promotion.
This plan also gives them 3 premiere days to promote Arrow and Tomorrow People which I am all for. Scheduling has gotten a lot better since Pedowitz took over.
Premiering late worked well for them last year so I am not surprised they are going with this tactic again. Only problem with moving things up a week of course is that it generally means the winter hiatus is longer.
ReplyDeleteAn earlier premiere means a longer midseason hiatus and more repeats in the season. I think Arrow has a perfect premiere date.
ReplyDeletethe dates for The Originals are confusing me
ReplyDeleteThe premiere is on Oct 3rd but wth are the other ones
That's a very good point. On that, I need to talk to you about the TTP reviews.
ReplyDeleteEpisode 1 airs on Thu Oct 3 after TVD, episode 2 airs on Tue Oct 8 and it re-runs on Thu Oct 10 after TVD, episodes 3 airs on Tue Oct 15 and there's no re-run on Thu because Reign premieres. The Originals then goes on every Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteFrom how I am reading it, The Originals premieres after the Vampire Diaries on Oct. 3. Then the second episode airs on Tuesday, Oct. 8. The second episode will be repeated on Thursday, Oct. 10. From then on it will be shown only on Tuesdays until something else fails.
ReplyDeleteMy current plan is to only review Tomorrow People whenever you can't or if there is an episode that particularly inspires me. I'm just the backup person.
ReplyDeleteYep, I know. I need to email you some dates where I'm likely to be unable to due to various things.
ReplyDeleteSounds good. You can either reach me through Google+ on the Spoiler page or my e-mail is dahne@spoilertv.com, whichever is easiest.
ReplyDelete*Edits Notepad file on my desktop of premiere dates*
ReplyDeleteHmm...anyone know if there's a place online I can watch SPN live as it airs? I'll be on vacation Oct 8 with family and I know they won't want to watch it on TV that evening.
ReplyDeleteBATB !!! :) can't wait ! :)
ReplyDeleteGood to know SPN is starting earlier, but still no word on Nikita damnit!!
ReplyDeleteWhen is Star Crossed Premiering?
ReplyDeleteNot until midseason and neither of CW's midseason shows have premiere dates yet.
ReplyDeleteIf the date is not in the Episode Database here -> http://stvplus.com/ then it means that no date has been announced.
ReplyDeleteThat works too.
