  1. Peter is getting into the fight. About time. Wonder what's in it for him. Also why would Aidan hitting Cora make her so sick - must have been something Blake did beforehand but Cora didn't look sick when she brainlessly attacked Aidan. Everything looks amazing except I am already sick of the "true alpha" plot. Otherwise I expect the next 3 episodes to be epic, a great roller coaster ride to the midseason hiatus.

  2. I am so excited! So can we just jump forward in time to the next week??

  3. We'll have to get used to the True Alpha story cause it seems to be the theme. And they won't let it go. Finally, Peter gets to do something. The cliffhanger for the summer is going to kill me, I just know it.

  4. I personally love the True Alpha plot, and that Scott is it. To me it gives them a compelling plot reason to keep Scott a good guy, this will allow him to remain that and I think he'll continue to defeat the villains by letting them be their own undoing when he can like with Gerard. Personally I feel antiheroes who kill frequently are overplayed although I watch plenty of shows where that's the case, and that Teen Wolf has Scott striving to be his best self and now being able to benefit from it makes me love Teen Wolf all the more.

  5. Oh,hehe. I agree with you, again! It looks like Blake did something to Cora through Aidan to safe her own skin. Why else would Cora spit black goo..?
Idk, seems like Blake is trying to align herself with Derek's/Scott's pack cuz the alphas want her dead.(and that's much easier bc of the Cora thing)
But i have a bad feeling about Blake...cuz i just watched the mid-season trailer again and it looks like Scott's Ma is going to be taken. (ok,maybe Deucalion abducts her .../ or she is meant to be a sacrifice (Guardian's))

Hm, so I guess there's actually more to Cora than we thought. Would not be surprised on if she too, has been dead and somehow for some reason became alive temporarily(possibly as part of Deucalion's plans for whatever)

  7. So, the thing we have to ask ourselves is... who has been overlooked by everyone so far?

  8. I can't stop thinking about the possibility of Peter's dead. Hope I'm wrong 'cause I considerer him an entertainment character.

  9. I'm kinda over the "true alpha" thing.... it's not really working for me....

Can't wait to see Peter kick ass. He might be a dick (and I do love him for it), but he is useful in a fight.

I am kinda hoping Derek is onto Jennifer and he's playing her (what with asking her to come over last episode and being all reassuring, and them smoothly kissing right before he starts chocking her -at least I hope that's the set up, going by the two bits from that scene we've gotten...)

And I am hoping we learn more about the Jennifer/Darach thing next week. I need information!

  10. I'm just glad that this cliffhanger will be resolved in January instead of having to wait until summer. Yeah for MTV upping the episodes to 24 this season. Most brilliant plan!

  11. I agree that antiheroes are overplayed and quite frankly, I generally don't like them. I need to be able to root for my hero. However I would say that the boy king plot has been equally overplayed. Scott does not need to be an alpha to continue to strive to be his best self. He was doing that just fine without making him the most super special person in the room.

  12. I wonder how Blake could have orchestrated that unless she did something to make Aiden sick too. I hope we get answers. Who knows? Maybe Peter had something to do with it. I think Duke's got Melissa not Darach. Darach has more pressing issues in order to survive. I do question them allying with anyone who sacrificed 9 people and tried to kill Danny and Lydia though. I would hope at least Stiles has something to say about this.

  13. Melissa is pretty awesome and I am glad she is getting more of a role this season. Here's to her and Sheriff working together some more, especially now that they both know.

    ReplyDelete
  14. The first person I think of as overlooked is Lydia and then Argent and Sheriff, but that has more to do with having great plot lines. The picture shows no one I remember on Teen Wolf but it will be interesting digging into her back story as well. I don't think Derek is going to rest until he knows the whole story.

  15. he was not doing fine, he wasn't able to really protect people for a long time any more with his beta power. if he was gonna go by his own rule the rule of good, he needed to be an alpha for that sake. replacing pills with mountain ass pills is not saving peoples, any human can do that. since Scott is the only one with the no killing rule he needs to have power that is able to allow him to maintain that rule. any supernatural/superpower/scifi setting, the main dude/girl always is really strong/or great potential(not one that takes long, at least that potential allows him to win power battle by the end of the battle). here that still hasn't really happened.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I disagree. Scott doesn't have to always be the savior. Nor should he always have to save people. That is the core problem with the boy savior mode they are going down. The point was that they ALL worked together to save each other. That is why this concept worked so well. They ALL used their skills and talents and brains to figure out solutions and just like a pack, they were all strongest when they worked together. It was the human-werewolf equivalent of a wolf pack. By turning Scott into the super special snowflake they run the very real risk of losing what makes this show so special.

Scott does not need to be an alpha. Derek fills that role fine enough when they need it. Scott's "specialness" used to lie in the fact that he was the moral compass, but even more so in his loyalty and openness. He trusted his friends. He had their back AND they had his. The second part was equally crucial. By going down the very tired road of Scott as boy king, it is set up so that Scott is the moral compass and savior of the world and in charge of everything and the only one to turn to, etc. That is the end to him being relatable and is guaranteed to make him less sympathetic to boot. Even as a werewolf, Scott is the everyday hero in this story. To try to take him out of that niche will ruin him and turn him into every other bland superhero around.

  17. Exactly! I don't fancy the idea of them working together with the Darach either.Like you said, she killed ('sacrificed') 9 innocent humans and ask's for help cuz the Alpha pack wants to kill her.....fine by me.( sry,for the dry sarcasm but idk no matter if she could help me with something, i wouldn't help her.)

    ReplyDelete
  18. Yes! Melissa and the Sheriff need to be like the adult dynamic duo of this show. Alison's dad is next level so I don't see the three of them teaming up.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I join your dry sarcasm and add that I hope Darach and Deucalion do go head-to-head. That would be one epic fight that ideally would leave both dead.

    ReplyDelete
  20. that's all true too, but Scott won't join Darek's Pack he will work with him but not join. so if not a alpha of his own, he can't be a beta alone, wouldn't that make him something else but what. i like ur view on the story. just for me im used to the 1 MC capable of taking care of things.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Sadly I agree on both points. Melissa and Sheriff need more time to work together and kick evil butt, but Argent's super cool skills mean the other two parents are left in the dust even though they are great in their own right too. However it would be awesome to see the trio work together on a couple of things. They are after all the only non-evil, human adults who seem to know what's really going on in Beacon Hills. I'd like to see all the main characters join forces to defeat a big foe if not this year, next year at least.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Thanks for your thought's.I really appreciate it cuz it hasn't crossed my mind that the whole 'True Alpha' plot can also backfire and change the dynamic of the show. I liked it at first. But now i guess i'll wait and see.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Argent's scene with the two guns and the reloading midair was pretty awesome though cheesy. So many bullets but he didn't hit the teacher or the Darach?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Scott hasn't joined Derek's pack and I don't think he ever will. However he is definitely aligned with Derek's pack and it seems like there is more camaraderie there than in any pack we've heard of so far. Therefore I don't think the omega status in its traditional form fits for Scott. I have no doubt that if Derek needed help Scott would be there for him. Just as I have no doubt that if Scott ever needed help, Derek would be there for Scott. Omega as defined by this show means a wolf alone and Scott is the antithesis of that. It is indeed this symbiotic relationship with Derek and the others that I feel is threatened by the notion that Scott has to be superior to everyone in every way.

When one main character takes care of everything and is the only answer/savior, that makes the rest of the group relatively superfluous and leaves them mostly standing around telling the "hero" how special he is and how they couldn't live without him. That is very boring compared to a group of diverse people bringing in their many talents and points of view to solve the problem/take down the bad guy together.

    ReplyDelete
  25. It's also the reason why I hate when Allison decides to go off and do things are her own. They are stronger together and more importantly, the show is more entertaining when they share their resources to take down the bad guy together.

  26. I will say in the 3rd rewatch I did start laughing a bit. In the first two I was just staring in awe of how amazing he looked, especially loading the clips by smacking the two guns together. I was less impressed by his target practice though. Usually he hits everything he's aiming at, the consummate shot.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Darned good idea! I'd like that. :)

  28. Am I the only one who likes the idea of Scott becoming an alpha? I don't actually personally care how they do it, but I think for him to become an alpha, is to become the leader he is meant to be. He can still work with all the others, because extra power or not, he still would not be invincible. He would still need others around, to help out and what-not, like he always has.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Derek just can't catch a break! Does he have to kill all his love interests?

    ReplyDelete
  30. I like the idea of Scott becoming a true alpha. I want to see how that storyline would play out with him as a lone alpha. I still have my question though of how Scott is not considered to be in Peter's pack because Peter is the one that changed him. And if I can recall, now that Peter is alive, Peter can turn him back to human. (As referenced in S1 before Derek killed Peter)

    ReplyDelete
  31. I know... poor Derek. Not only his love interest but his family. He watched them die, killed the only one relative, then see them come back to life, & now his sister is dying again. His family life is all messed up and he can't keep a lady friend around for comfort

    ReplyDelete
  32. that would be a good fight... I want to know what Darach did to Deucalion or is the Darach a rare werewolf (based on what she said Deucalion is after)

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'm excited to see Peter fight. He's probably joining in to protect Cora.I just hope he DOES NOT DIE! I like Peter & as much as I like Derek & Scot, they still need werewolf guidance and Peter is the right person to continue to provide that guidance. S/N: anyone notice for Derek to be raised in Beacon Hills, he still don't know a lot of this stuff. He comes from a family of werewolf's but Peter is like his teacher on everything...

If there's anything in it for Peter would be to become a alpha again. A pack of alpha's is the opportunity for Peter to become a alpha again. He's been healing (as stated in the episode to Stiles) so a battle with the alpha's and for him to kill one to become a alpha again is a well thought out plan. (me guessing)

  34. Yeah it's going to kill me... but I'm hoping there's no suspense all the way to January. The suspense these episodes have now is wearing me down. I can't wait months for it to continue. I sure hope Kali dies before the January episodes though.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I hope Kali dies in the midseason finale too. However I am 100% positive they are going to leave that finale on a cliffhanger so we will all be anxiously awaiting January.

  36. Scott is the rare werewolf but I think Duke is equally afraid of Darach finishing the ritual and gaining whatever power it will give her. Scott is his future threat; Darach is his present day threat so it is more pressing for him to take her out now. I don't think it will be easy for Duke to kill Darach given her instant healing powers already and she has proven she can call on the powers of nature to assist her in taking him out.

I am more interested to know if Deucalion had something to do with Darach getting mauled in the first place. It will be a different motivation if she is after all alphas or if she wants to take down Duke's pack specifically. I am wondering if it is part vengeance if Duke is the werewolf that mauled her to begin with. I also wonder if she already knew she had powers as a druid and that's why the birds could sacrifice themselves so she could be healed and become Darach. Hmm, if she did know and Deucalion is the one that mauled her, then Duke was specifically targeting a druid. We know from what Ethan said to Scott and Stiles that their druids were dead. Did Duke kill them? Did the druids try to stop Deucalion from amassing as much power as he has? Is this a druid-werewolf battle that has lasted for over a decade now? Sorry for text spewing but my brain is now running in all kinds of interesting directions and I find myself even more excited about where these last 3 episodes are going to take us.

  37. I agree that Peter is still searching for a way to be an alpha and I think Peter is scheming and smart enough to turn all of this to his advantage. However I do not think Derek is trustworthy enough for Derek to look to him for guidance. He has shown that he will stab anyone in the back in order to get what he wants. For me he is the werewolf version of Gerard Argent. I doubt he would do anything for Cora that wouldn't ultimately help him. I too want him to live but for probably different reasons. 1. He brings the snark and that is much needed in this show. 2. I think he will be the Big Bad of the final season and I really trust these writers. I would love if everything that happens in the previous seasons ends up tying into his end game. It would be assume to see how he secretly manipulated everything that has happened since Scott was bitten into an all-encompassing evil power trip.
