Danny Trejo is heading back to FX.
The actor, who has recurred on the cable network's Sons of Anarchy , has booked a series-regular role on Saint George, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Trejo will play Lopez's uncle Tio, a part-time construction worker who stops by the house to drink George's beer. He is extremely competitive -- in his mind, he can outrun, -jump or -drink anyone, especially George. Tio lives life to the fullest. In many ways, Tio is like a savant or Shakespeare's fool -- despite a convoluted thought process and many quirks, Tio speaks the truth and holds a mirror up to George.
