Toby and Caleb's bromance is officially under way, and clues lead them to Nigel Wright, Jenna's arm candy at Wilden's funeral. Because Team Taleb is, well, the best, they force a semi-confession out of him. The NW lighter that Toby scooped up from the woods placed Nigel near the lodge at the time of the fire. Although he didn't actually start the fire, he was paid to fake a flight plan so no one would catch on to the fact that he was actually the pilot that night. Turns out you can pay Nigel for just about anything. Of course, the one question we all want to know, he can't answer! Nigel is no help in identifying Red Coat, but he did name-drop the person who paid him, and she goes by the name of CeCe Drake!

Mike Montgomery is in trouble with the police for vandalizing Connor's car. Let's face it, every PLL viewer would like to have taken a swing at that car. In her time of need, Ezra is there for Aria, and he defends her brother. Fitz saves the day! But alas, Ezria fans are left of the edge of their seats, waiting for the moment Aria and Ezra just accept the fact that they're supposed to be together.

Ashley is offically behind bars for Wilden's murder, and it turns out that she could be charged with first degree murder. To help Hanna, Emily steals the keys to Wilden's apartment so the girls can investigate -- and that is what best friends are for! After searching through his apartment and finding only black socks and naughty videos, the Liars stumble upon an unopened box just randomly sitting in the floor. And I am so proud because the girls are actually cautious and use gloves so they wouldn't leave fingerprints behind! You're learning, Liars. You're learning. In the box was rotten meat mailed to Wilden, and you'll never guess who it was from: "A"! That's right, it looks like "A" may have been targeting Rosewood's worst detective as well. A note the hooded figured left with the gift may also be another clue: "Can't wait to see you at our little barbeque. Kisses." -A. Was Wilden supposed to start the lodge fire?
Pam is suspended from the police force because she "lost" the key to Wilden's apartment. And just when you think things can't get any worse, "A" sends a car straight through the front of the Fields' house. To put the icing on that cake, "A" purchases Emily a giftcard at a hardware store. At least "A" is helping to clean up her own mess!

What did you think of "Crash and Burn, Girl!"? Let's chat in the comments!
I really felt sad for the Marins and I didn't expect that Cece was involved in the fire. I think that she and Alison are working together.
ReplyDeleteAnother AWESOME recap!! I really felt bad for the Marins too (I wish I could hug Hanna) and whoa Cece is connected to the fire! It's a toss-up between Alison is really alive or Cece is the Queen A in all of it. And that weird Nigel Wright scene. Was he talking to Cece or Jenna? The glasses made me think it was Jenna.
ReplyDeletei just think that guy was lying i mean the real one who is the girl with the glasses wich im guessing is jenna could told him to say that name if anyone find out about him and the boys were foolish when they believed him... As for emily`s family i just think marlene hates her she just keep geting the worst thing.... and anyone saw how Aria was the only one who noticed the box at wilden`s house¿?
