    Gail got what she deserved. I hope Nick and Andy don't get together on the basis of a rebound. This kind of relationship won't last long.

    I think this episode truly marked the beginning of the end for Marlo and Sam. I'm thinking Nick and Andy's relationship is going to be a rebound. Sam Swarek jealous is never good for the other party.

    I'm so tired of them dragging out Sam and Andy! To me, they are the core of this show and everyone else is just a great supporting cast. But the storylines this year and the "reason" for S&A's breakup is plain stupid. It's getting more and more soapy every episode. And seriously, if Andy starts sleeping with Nick she should just put a red light on her porch. I can't be bothered to watch this show live anymore, last night was the first time in years I forgot it was on and had to find it in a later time zone to tape it, so I won't even bother to do that.

    I feel the complete opposite. I think that too much emphasis has been placed on Sam and Andy, and I wish this much effort was put into writing a decent story for all the other great characters on the show like Dov, Gail, Nick, Luke, Traci and Oliver. I'm actually glad they're making an effort to do something different this season, even though I'm sure they'll revert to the Sam and Andy drama in the end. I know some fans hate the idea of Nick and Andy, but I actually think that Nick brings out the best in Andy, far more than Luke and Sam ever did. They just make sense to me. And I say this as someone who really likes Gail, Luke and Sam. I just think that the show doesn't always pair the characters with the best chemistry together. For example, Gail has much better chemistry with Luke and Dov...far more than anyone she's dated on the show. Luke's character really started to shine after he and Andy broke up, and Dov has great chemistry with practically everyone....except Chloe!

    I agree they often pair the wrong couples, but if you're implying the Sam and Andy are part of that equation or that Nick and Andy have better chemistry I largely disagree. In fact I don't see near the chemistry between Andy and Nick as there was and is between Andy and Sam. Most times opposites attract, those are the most interesting couples to me (especially on TV where we need that extra drama). As for Luke, I agree he started to win me over after his and Andy's breakup. I was really hoping for a Luke/Gail relationship. But I disagree about spending more time focusing on the other characters. Every season/storyline viewers are always left with loose ends and often have to draw our own conclusions. I think it's because they try to write an episode for each character but with only 13 per season there just isn't enough time to do all these storylines justice. I think the writing and show would be better if they didn't spread themselves so thin and focused on doing a few good ones so they can finish what they start.
