I'm not totally sure, because Bullet said she knew who the killer is, and yet she kept calling the police department where said killer works? But now...in next week's promo we have Holder mentioning that very thing. Something about she kept calling and no one was there. So, we'll see.
Very sad. Adrian never did get closure with his father. I guess Seward accepted his fate because of all the other terrible things he's done in his life, but I wish he had tried harder to save himself. I wonder why Becker became cowardly?
One of the last things Holder said (in the promo for next week) something to this effect,'only a cop could get into the files, its a cop.' Whoever it is we know its not Becker..
That was so hard to watch. Here was Adrian thinking his farther did it and feeling terrible that he thought he got his farther in trouble.Wait until he finds out his farther didn't do it,all he was trying to do was get his son... That kid is going to be screwed up for some time.
Are you suggesting that a deep, emotional, well written, amazingly acted and thought provoking storyline is pointless just because it isn't immediately plot serving? (even though it actually does serve the plot, but anyway...)
Wow. That was a rollercoaster of emotions there. I kept waiting for some kind of bombshell plot-wise, like Seward spouting out the name of someone he saw at the apartment or something, but in retrospect, that's really not what the episode was about and I'm glad they didn't go there.
Mind blowing. Yet so depressive. Peter Saarsgard, Mireille Enos (and Joel Kinnaman for the previous episode) should have all the awards in the world. I actually thought they would stop it. But in a way I am glad they did not since it avoids the cliche. Loved this. This season is blowing my mind, I can't wait for the finale
Still catching up to the show. Haven't watched the finale yet but I am pretty sure at this point that Holder's partner is the killer. When Holder went to his home and beat him up, you could see some band aids on his hand, perhaps from when he killed Bullet; and let's not forget he was the one who found the box of rings. He's the obvious choice at this point so I kind of hope it does not turn out that it's him in the end.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Wow,that was a very powerful,very depressing episode....
ReplyDeleteBecker was such a freaking hard ass throughout the series and yet when it came time he couldn't put the hood on..
And yeah, the murderer is Holder's partner or ex-partner..

ReplyDeleteI REALLY REALLY hope we get a season 4 (fingers crossed)
ReplyDeleteYes! The guilt will be enormous.
ReplyDeleteCan we give them their Emmys now? And one for Kinnaman, too.
ReplyDeleteIndeed they were.

ReplyDeleteThe best episode so far, outstanding performances by Mireille Enos, Joel K. and Peter Sarsgaard.
