This episode was hard to get through in a very good way. The acting was superb but even more important to me is how much I loved the new villain. Finally we've got one that doesn't seem over the top and even better is not bragging about how superior he is in every way. This is my kind of villain and I can't wait to see what his larger game is.
Truly phenomenal episode! Jeffrey Donovan has been knocking it out of the park all season and this episode was no exception. Michael unraveling was difficult but damn amazing to watch. Loved the insights into his background too with Larry (missed that guy so much!) and his father. Can't wait for more!
I loved that we finally got to see what Frank looked liked. I would really like to get more flash backs of young Michael and Nate as well. I'm a sucker for brother stories.
I agree, its been long overdue to see what Frank looked like. I do like that they didn't just that drop either, we've slowly learned more about him over the course of the show.
It was such an amazing episode. I agree with everyone who says that Jeffrey Donovan is a brilliant actor. It's such a shame that it's ending but hopefully we'll see him in something else soon :)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Great episode. Instantly became one of my favorite Burn Notice episodes.
ReplyDeleteit was an upsetting episode but amazing acting. poor michael.

ReplyDeleteI wonder if he is going to focus on acting or directing. It could go either way.

ReplyDeletePlus culminating in Michael saying that his experiences with his father is what kept him alive. That was a major shock to me.
ReplyDeleteIt was great but lacking in entertainment.
