Lucy Lawless, who appeared multiple times on the NBC comedy last season, will return as Diane, Ron’s girlfriend who is pregnant with his child. Producers are hoping to bring back the former Xena: Warrior Princess star for additional episodes as Ron prepares for fatherhood.

    I love how EW thinks this is a surprise. Um, yeah, they're having a baby together and everything. It'd be weird if she wasn't in this season.
