  2. Awe cute teaser!

  3. Ariel, my favorite Princess love it already.

  4. Never thought she would be present day Storybrooke, figured she would be in Neverland. Can't complain though, she's been a long time coming.

  5. The thing I like the most about this is the fact she stole the fork.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I wonder if that's the case though.Maybe they just showed her in SB for this clip..I'm pretty sure we'll see her in Neverland.
I mean last year, they showed Captain Hook in SB(which happened half way into the season),getting his hook from Gold's shop, which never happened.I don't think we should read too much into this.
But I agree,it's about time Ariel showed up!

This is just a teaser, I think they will be in NL like 15 or 18 episodes from this season, Ariel will return to SB with Emma, Henry, Regina and the Charmings.

  8. Still pulling for JoAnna Garcia Swisher as Ariel.

  9. I agree with what Kat said: in the teaser video from last year, Hook was clearly in Storybrooke but we first met him in present-day FTL. Plus, Hook has talked about mermaids before, if I remember correctly from his days in Neverland. So the group heading to Neverland is probably going to meet her.

  10. Me too! I'm sure they can/will accommodate her daughter. If not, well, it's (unfortunately) almost baseball's offseason!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Awesome teaser! I'm guessing this is after the movie (never read the actual story) since from the looks of things, she can switch from legs to fin pretty quickly.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I think it could go either way. KatHale and Sarah make good points about last years teasers, but it's possible that Ariel passed through a portal somehow. I actually really like the prospect of Grumpy/Ariel Dynamic, even if they just become friends.

  13. and the theme of theiving continues! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  14. Have they already cast Ariel? What does Felicia Day have going on right now?

    ReplyDelete
  15. I had always thought she would be in Neverland. IF she is in Storybrooke, I'm going to guess that she fell through the portal when it opened in Neverland to let the Jolly Rodger through.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yeah I realized that a little later, that the Hook promo from last year was different than what we saw in it. You're right tho, it's probably more of a 'look who's coming this season' than an actual clip from the show.

  17. Praying for Rebecca Mader!!

    ReplyDelete
  18. I would love to see Rebecca Mader or Felicia Day as Ariel! :)

    ReplyDelete
  19. Oh no not Felicia, than i'll never watch it...

    ReplyDelete
  20. What do you have against Felicia? If I may ask? :)

    ReplyDelete
  21. Oh i don't have anything against her i just don't think she is right for the part, but that's just me. I'm having a hard enough time getting excited for this show, this would just make it even harder than is already is.. Now Bec is a whole different story!

  22. That's so freaking cool

  23. Fuck yes!!!!!!!

    AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HECK YES! SOOOO GLAD!

bummer though in a way, I would have liked to see Snow and Emma with Ariel. Red will be cool though.

  26. I've had the image of Ariel in my head for a long time, and that image belongs to Elena Satine

    ReplyDelete
  27. I had to google her, but she sorta looks the part. Thanks to tumblr, I have had Holland Roden (Teen Wolf, apparently) in my head as Ariel.

So flippin excited!! Ariel is my absolute FAVORITE! I hope they treat her right!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Between Elena and Holland. I'd prefer Elena. But in general she doesn't seem right either. In the video I didn't like how fake the hair looks. I'd prefer her to have the appearance of natural orange hair, i don't care if it is natural, dyed or a wig, as long as it looks real.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I like both actresses but neither scream Ariel to me. I think she should be 20-35s. Have a young beautiful face but a good smile.

    ReplyDelete
  31. If she dyed her hair to have a strong orange/ red colour. I'd be good with her. Her natural hair looks more brown than red.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Couldn't think of anyone to play Ariel off the top of my head so i googled red haired actress. I think Ariel should look something like Bridget Regan or Eliza Swenson. Of course if the wanted to cast Rose Leslie I'd be okay with that.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Oh Ariel....
Cheesy and half ass made promo though...

    ReplyDelete
  34. I don't think that was an actual clip from the show though...

    ReplyDelete
  35. I'm down for that!
OH! Or Brittany Snow! (did she her pilot get picked up, I can't remember...)

    ReplyDelete
  36. Both great actress neither I would cast for Ariel though...

  38. I LOVE IT!

    I LOVE IT!

    I LOVE IT!

    ReplyDelete
  39. I love it! No body steals from a Dwarf! Too Funny!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Hmm, that's fair. And Rebecca would be great! With her being on Lost and Fringe they might already be leaning in that direction!

    ReplyDelete
  41. So, that begs the question, who would you cast? :)

    ReplyDelete
  42. That's fair, so I'm wondering who do you have in mind? :)

    ReplyDelete
  43. PROBABLY mermaids can travel through ocean between Neverland and Storybrooke.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I had to google actress cause I couldn't think of any. Physically Bridget Regan or Eliza Swenson or some else with that same look.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Oh, if only Bridget Regan could star in OUAT, that would be so awesome! Unfortunately, that's not happening yet, she'll have an arch on next season's White Collar as Neal's new love interest.

Besides, the efforts of Legend of the Seeker fans to resurrect the show might finally pay off (fingers crossed). SMGO will make a pitch to some networks soon and who knows, we could see Bridget as the badass Mother Confessor again, a couple of years from now.

But in the meantime, I'd love to see Tabrett, Bruce, or the two Craig's on OUAT! :D

    ReplyDelete
  46. Both could work! :)

    ReplyDelete
  47. I don't know if this will explain my point very well but someone a tad more "conventionally girly pretty" that can pull off being a red head... Like Brittany Snow... not necessarily Brittany Snow herself, but someone in that category.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Yeah; that's why they didn't show her face. They may not even have cast her yet (if they had, I think they would have announced it at Comic-Con).

    ReplyDelete
  49. This is awesome. I can't wait to see how they work TLM into the Storybrooke mythos - so much OUAT potential in that story. Though Ariel is the character I'm most excited about seeing, I'm also looking forward to seeing what they do with Ursula. She would make a fantastic "big bad" at some point. Then again, given the tease we got about Ariel in Season 1, I suppose it's possible that Regina might somehow BE Ursula.

    ReplyDelete
  50. That is a FABULOUS idea!!!

    ReplyDelete
  51. That makes a lot of sense, actually. I'm voting for that theory.

And perhaps she's not the only person who came through...this might make an interesting situation for Belle to have to deal with while Rumple's away.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I'd cast Karen Gillan as Ariel in a second, but she's obviously not available. Too busy playing evil space pirates, and whatnot (can't wait to see her in Guardians of the Galaxy).

    ReplyDelete
  53. Well, she's definitely got the hair for it - and she has kind of a mermaid-y past, with that one Smallville episode...however, I don't think she's got the personality for the role.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Right, plus Hook was retrieving his hook from Gold's shop in that teaser, which he never did at any point on the show.

    ReplyDelete
  55. That's what I think too!

    ReplyDelete
  56. I'm really looking forward to seeing Belle in the leadership role; I know they're going to be emphasizing the Jolly Roger crew but I'm actually more interested in how things will develop in Storybrooke. Especially since I think they've criminally ignored the fact that there are probably still dozens more otherworldly exiles in that town, all with interesting stories and motivations. It would be so cool if Belle were to encounter more of them.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Rebecca Mader would def be a feisty Ariel!! I would actually also love Evan Rachel Wood, but she might be a bit too much, unless they would go for a more villianess Ariel (and actually, I think she is pregnant at the moment). I doubt this will ever happen, but If they got Anna Torv to put her red wig back on ;) I also think Debra Anne Wool would be a super cute Ariel...

    ReplyDelete
  58. I think both sides will be interesting, but I too can't what to see what Storybrooke will be like without the big goods and the big bads!

I really liked Belle in the episode where she goes off and helps Mulan. It gives me great hope that season can deliver a lot more because I think the characters are (plot-wise) in better places for progressions! :)

    ReplyDelete
  59. There is so much they could do with Belle. I agree, all the characters are in better places now - especially since all the former enemies are being forced to work together. Should make for some great character drama.

Now if they could only get rid of Greg and Tamara...

    ReplyDelete
  60. I honestly really hope she isn't Regina. I want Ursula to be an entirely new character. I don't want Rumples to be Ursula either, which is the other theory that I have seen floating about; she's too epic and badass to be combined into another character.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I could get totally on board with ERW.....
Anna Torv would be better than RM, but still not great IMO...

    ReplyDelete
  62. Evan Rachel could be good, so could Debra Anne. But I would just squeal if they would get Anna Torv to don the red wig again! :D

    ReplyDelete
  63. I see what you mean, that could work too. I suppose a lot hangs on how they intend to write the character. :)

    ReplyDelete
  64. That last theory is a little crazy... :)

Yeah, I want her to be a new character. They could lift her characterization right from the Little Mermaid film, and she'd still work perfectly in OUAT. Strip away all the commercialization of that movie, and you have a very compelling story with great characters that appeals to adults as well as kids.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I don't mind Greg and Tamara, I think they are interesting Villian's simply because at least one of them has an excuse to be to so brutal, and because they represent an organization with futuristic tech that could be an additional segway to something/somewhere else. But I agree, that unless Greg;'s Dad is still alive after all and in Neverland (how could they not use Captain Kirk?!) that they have served their purpose as Nikki and Paulo and deserve to be buried alive!

    ReplyDelete
  66. That's exactly the comparison I had in my head. The organization behind them sounds interesting, and Owen has a rather intriguing backstory...but I don't know, they just don't really work for me in the long run. Maybe it's just the actors who portray them. They don't bring a lot of charisma to their roles, and definitely aren't believable as major villains. More of an annoyance than anything else, I'd say.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Definitely! If they decide to go "mean-girl" Ariel, I could maybe see a RM type... but I don't know. Anything Once I approach with a huge ammount of precaution.

    ReplyDelete
  68. My real deep wish is that Torv will turn up as an evil android in Almost Human, so I wouldn't be hurt if she wasn't Areil.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Ok, now that would be a MUCH better use of her talents....

    ReplyDelete
  70. Maybe she crossed to Storybrooke when the ship was crossing to Neverland. The 'wormhole' might be two-way. And I wonder if we see this scene in an episode?

    ReplyDelete
  71. Haha, yeah, me too. OUAT has let me down, once too often. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  72. FINALLY!!
