The Crazy Ones is one I'll be definitely checking out. Robin Williams is a blast and it was the only one that had me laughing with the trailer.
Mom might be good, also Allison Janney! The Millers could be hit or miss as well, but Margo Martindale! We Are Men looked horrible in the trailer, though it has Tony Shalhoub.
I will sample The Millers. The rest I will skip but I may check them out much later on if they get renewed. I am much more picky with comedies than with dramas mostly because I get more tired of watching comedy than dramas, so I am not as prone to start watching one as I am with dramas.
- Crazy Ones seems to be, hands down the best one of the lot. - I think Mom will find an audience (because Chuck Lorre, and decent cast). - The Millers on the other hand might find an audience (because Greg Garcia can write broad comedy well and that's a stellar cast!). - We are Men, despite some good actors involved (mainly Tony) seems just sooooo bad.... just painfully bad....
Agree completely with you! Though I'm a bit more skeptical about The Millers (the trailer really didn't grab me). And even though I like Tony a lot, I hope We Are Men crashes and burns.
Perhaps you can get out of my head now as well? :P
The Millers is on my "maybe" list, but on the positive scope of "maybe." Jeff and Margo are pure gold, and the rest of the cast is waaaay more than decent. An then there is Greg Garcia. I mean he's over the top, and broad and can be a little crude. But I've always found his writing has a lot of heart too and that makes a HUGE difference.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I will give We Are Men and Mom a shot because of Tony Shalhoub and Anna Faris.

The Crazy Ones is the only one I'm excited about. Mom & The Millers look OK and We Are Men doesn't really do it for me.
ReplyDeleteAccording to early reviews, Mom and The Crazy Ones are the best out these four.
