  1. Okay, I am here for Plymouth and maybe Tommyknockers (one of the few Stephen books I have yet to read because it didn't interest me).

  2. I'd watch an modernized version of Rosemary's Baby and probably check out tommyknockers.

The Hilary Clinton project sounds like crap. Couldn't find anything about Plymouth anyone know what its about?

  3. The landing on Plymouth Rock.

  4. This could read as "NBC forgets that it already made Tommyknockers miniseries; decides to repeat disaster.

  5. Not to sound stupid, not american, that was the mayflower right? So it will be about europeans colonizing america?

  6. I wonder when they will start airing? Probably spring or summer

  7. - Rosemary's Baby could work, I suppose. Then again, it is NBC were talking about so that makes the odds of success fairly slim.
    - Revisiting The Tommyknockers is just a bad idea. Period.
    - Hillary Clinton & Plymouth - meh. Not interested.

  8. Tommyknockers!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool to see NBC embrace mini series!

  9. It would be funnier if Plymouth was about the locals knocking around in Devon, that would throw everyone for a loop! It might be a bit rubbish though?

  10. Oh no didn't Tommyknockers have an awful mini-series already? The way Under The Dome is going I wish they would leave King's novels alone for a bit.

  11. Looking forward to Rosemary's Baby, and Tommyknockers couldn't possibly be worse than the last attempt could it?

  12. Rosemary's Baby could be very very good if done right, and although it's not my favourite King novel, I'll still definitely check out The Tommyknockers, although I've heard nothing but horrible things about the previous miniseries!

  13. Tommyknockers could work. Probably wouldn't check out the others. Possibly Plymouth but only if it seems like it could be somewhat historically accurate.

  14. I am of more of a "Tommyknockers gets second try after dismal first" optimistic mind. There was so much wrong before that this is their opportunity to get it right now.

  15. Nice to see NBC embracing miniseries again. It's unlikely to happen for these single run series, but future attempts could be backdoor pilots for potential series.

    Mark Burnett's Plymouth, eh...

Tommyknockers was already done before. I believe by ABC. Will be interesting, but there's other books out there to adapt.

Rosemary's Baby sounds quite interesting. Would like to see how an updated version of the classic turns out.

Hilary Clinton project might be too political for a political year.

  16. Almost most of them could be great, but will be depending on who will be making them. Wait and see, but cautiously optimistic. :)

  19. I applaud the ambition. I'm not too sure NBC is up for the task though...

Still good on them for trying. Who knows, they could get lucky.
