I normally agree, I hate hate HATED him on Brothers & Sisters and several other things I've seen him on, but he's super good as Chris Traeger, I always thought he and Adam Scott were among the best cast additions to any show ever.
He's amazing as Chris Traeger, and he was very good in the TV movie about Drew Peterson with Kaley Cuoco. So he can do comedy and drama, but I like him in comedy better.
Being NBC it'll probably be called "The Rob Lowe Show" about a man named Rob Henry, an actor who's a serial-abandoner of network TV shows... And he'll by gone by Episode 9.
Parks is really changing, what with Chris and best friend Ann out of the script, and Ron and Diane having a baby, and Leslie and Ben now married. There will probably be more focus on Tom and the Saperstein twins--Mona Lisa and Jean Ralphio.
Add it to your list, its a fantastic show! So many actors were in that series at once time or another, and they all gave incredible performances.I highly recommend it..
He WAS really good in The West Wing and although I actually liked him on B & S's (he's role is written in such a way that continued to give political hicups), I'll always think of him in St. Elmos Fire!!
I didn't watch B&S regularly. I rather see hair on a guys head (if he has hair) than these buzz cuts or crew cuts guys have been wearing for the past few years...
Great! I have fond memories of the Brat Pack days in the 80's, plus watching Rob on West Wing proved that he had the acting chops to really do justice to a role. I hope they look at him for a drama next time.
There are a lot of little Alias references through out (and a couple of Lost references) Brothers and Sisters (my favorite is that there is this guy named "Milo" who divorced his wife and approaches Sol (Ron Rifkin's character) and Sol finally admits that he is Gay. Then there is also this guy Ethan, working with Sarah for a time and he drew the Bad Robot robot!!
But yes, back to men with hair on a man's head, I concur!! (with the exception of a mullet or long hair on Mr. Alexander Skarsgaurd) ;P
I always forget about B&S when i'm looking for something to watch. :P Just wrote it down!
Your right,no to mullets and Alexander Skarsguard is gorgeous! With short hair, long hair,no hair, buzz, mullet, bald as a babies butt,oh baby!!!!!! Those blue eyes,oh baby!!!!!!!! ;)
Well he's always been part of big ensembles and has often riden on the the tailcoats of already established shows.... I am interested to see how he fairs in headlining a show... He might not have what it takes....
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Why exactly would they think this is a good idea? It might be different if he's actually the star, but the man has left at least three shows!
ReplyDeleteIt's NBC we're talking about. Not a network known for its smart decisions haha :P
ReplyDeleteUm, why not say, "Hey Rob Lowe, stay on Parks *while* we develop you a new show for next season."????
ReplyDeleteI don't get it, I just can't stand that guy...

ReplyDeleteOh dear Lord. That is wrong on so many levels (the 80's look, not you remarks).
ReplyDeleteThe West Wing was amazingly well written and acted. I LOVED that show.
ReplyDeleteNo worries, that's why I posted it!!! XD
