In his first TV gig since leaving Private Practice in 2012, Tim Daly will guest-star on an upcoming Season 4 episode of Hawaii Five-O, CBS announced Monday.

Daly — whose TV credits include The Nine, Eyes and The Sopranos — will play a Texas Ranger in one installment, with the potential to recur.

    Anyway, I am excited for this! I love Tim and I've missed him since he was fired on Private Practice.
