See, it's great. Dexter doesn't say, "I love you" or "I need you", he says, "I don't hate you". The narrative is portraying him as 'real' and 'honest' and 'true to himself'.
I find it interesting that Dexter doesn't ask Deb why she tried to kill him, but instead asks why she saved him Brings back thoughts of how last season ended with the dropped knife, and telling Deb to do what she needed to do, I do wonder if Dex is ready to die, it seems possible
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Deb: "Because it was in the script." :P
ReplyDeleteDeb: ''BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!!!!!!''
