Wetpaint Entertainment: What can you tease about the next season of Castle?
Molly Quinn: Alexis brings home someone that Castle doesn't like. But is she doing it on purpose to get under his skin because he's engaged and didn't tell her, or is she doing it because she really likes the guy?

It's a real boy. We get to see him, multiple times. They cast him. He's extremely attractive, very cute, very, very cute. He'll be a new heartthrob, I'm sure.

So what can we say about where we pick up as far as Castle and Beckett's engagement?
It's tumultuous. It's very tumultuous. They're not going to be spending as much time together as they used to. And maybe they're finding that they can't take being separated, meaning, she might have to do her thing, and him do his. They might have to take a sabbatical.
What about Lanie and Alexis?
I hope it comes back. They haven't told me. You know how much I love that, so I'm crossing my fingers.

ReplyDeleteMarlowe said it would be a "romantic" season...I can´t see how taking a sabbatical is romantic (unless I´m misunderstanding the meaning of the s.word). Or the romantic isn´t about Castle and Beckett...anyway, I´m not liking this:(
ReplyDeleteYou know, with this kind of info coming out I think I'm just done. I've been so mad about the ending arc and from these spoilers, season 6 is going to be awful. Andrew Marlow said we were to see what a normal relationship looks like, but NOTHING a out ANYTHING in CASKETT has been normal. It's all depressing, discouraging and insulting stuff to the fans so I've decided they've run me off. Ill miss the show, the actors and the fandom, but I quit. ;(
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of "if"s, "maybe"s and "might"s in this, dont get discourged so quickly by teases and spoilers. Give season 6 a try, then decide. Maybe itll surprise you. :)

ReplyDeleteI tought it meant they would be separated, as in their relationship, for a period of time.
That they would spend less time together and wouldn´t be able to work with each other was obvious,,,
Things I've now learned: 1) They got engaged, 2) She or they go to Washington, 3) Marlowe is NOT stupid. He's gonna yank us around but, in the end (Ep 2-4) Caskett will be together and as happy as the writers will let them be. After 5 seasons of buildup to the love these 2 characters have for each other, they can absolutely not cast that all away. If they do, the show will go bye-bye.
ReplyDeleteWhy don't you just wait and actually see what happens. I really don't understand people that judge the new season before they have seen a second of new footage. All we have now is some spoilers and interviews, and we know Molly likes to point us in the wrong direction. Remember the interview she gave right before the S5 finale aired? She really hinted at a break up while in reality it was much different.

I really liked the "Alexis studying forensiscs" arc... It would be a good thing to give her more time screen in a very organic way.
