SpoilerTV have learnt exclusively that Episode 2.04 of Beauty and the Beast will see the introduction of new a character. This character is a potentially recurring role.
Her name is Tori and is in her late 20's. She is hot and described as the following.

ReplyDeleteI will go down as saying that my initial reaction was of irritation and anger then I calmed down and realised that this does not necessarily mean that she will be a love interest for Vincent. She could just be brought in to cause problems outside of his love life.

ReplyDeleteNice try writers but I'm not interested in new love interests for Vincat they have enough to deal with with Muirfield. Yeah, she'll get in the way of Vincat blah blah waste of screen time imho but the making up will be hot as hell I'm sure. Whatever her reasons for being there it will be interesting to watch her arrival and departure LOL.
ReplyDeleteMeh. Way to go the predictable route. The point of Vin/Cat is that they love each other so passionately, their love is dangerous and they would do anything for each other. Love triangles and cheating won't work in this show. Its stupid.
ReplyDeleteI for a change, dont mind it, its not predictable as in any other series, bec in other series they keep throwing people not knowing who is the end game.....here we know is VinCat but some angst gets more story lines and I for once dont want this to end yet...so bring it on......we can take it!!! Send some dreamy guy to Cat life as well.... ;)

ReplyDeleteI am actually glad to see this new seductive devil character because we know he loves Cat but now that he's even more of a beast I want to see him find his way to his humanity and what better way that straight through the hands of a seductive evil. It will let us see how much of a beast he is I don't mean it in a sexual way but being a supercharged human with anger and live amongst people somewhat inferior to you that's a big power trip. We see his humanity through Cat and this makes room to show he's other side. While I HATE triangles or whatever I think this storyline will be interesting with V's current situation. Sorry for the long post.

ReplyDeleteI hope so. Tho to be honest, I hope they wrap muirfield up either the first half of the season or at the latest the season 2 final.. I find it the weakest part of the show, tho I do like the back story of Cats mom.. I'd prefer them solving cases together, kind of a 'monster of the week' deal.. but I don't know if that would work with this show as well. It's a tough thing to pull off, to have a couple who want to be together, while trying to put obstacles in the way to prolong the show.
ReplyDeleteIf you're right Fashionfootie, I'll be okay with it also, but if this is going to be a love triangle again( which has already been proved to be a disaster on this particular show),or if he actually falls for this seductive devil, I'll be utterly disappointed! I find it a bit annoying that all spoilers, @ Comiccon also- are about how VINCAT is going to be pulled apart- where is the good news about the 2 of them, of how they will get together or be together??
ReplyDeleteActually, at Comic Con, it was mentioned that BOTH Cat and Vincent will have love interests. I am not a fan of love triangles. After the Alex mess, I don't understand why they would go down this road again!
ReplyDeleteThis show is about a true, deep love between Vincent and Catherine - there should not be other love interests in a show like this. Vincat already has so many obstacles to deal with. Vincent will be super-charged and at Comic Con they said that Vincent will be disconnected from both Catherine and JT, so you see, there is a lot of forces trying to keep them apart, so NO need for other love interests!!
I really liked Alex, so I may like this one too, sounds interesting.

ReplyDeleteYes, I too watched All the Comic-Com videos. However, that does not mean that THIS particular character is a love interest. There are various other things she could be. As one person mentioned, she could be a character brought to try and lure V back to Muirfield. Anything is possible, so I won't assume off the bat that she is a love-interest.
ReplyDeleteWell they did mention that this season will be about them earning their love and that to me seems like a good thing. We don't actually know what happened to V when he was taken so maybe that and other obstacles will cause them to be apart and make them realise that they have to fight for this love that they have for each other.

ReplyDeleteMy initial reaction was "here we go again!" but I think it will be ok. I don't expect any other love interests to hang around too long, VinCat is what completes this show and the writers know that. I'm really looking forward to this season!! Whoot Whoot!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope this Tori will be the person who tries to get him to forget his life in hiding and maybe work with Muirfield on whatever their missions are. I hope she's the "bad girl" who tries (and fails obviously) to persuade him he can do good (bad actually, real bad cause it is Muirfield) with his superhuman abilities. That will be very interesting to watch and see him grapple with his grittier side the beast.
ReplyDeleteShe must be an experiment too right? Cause his not going to get close with a normal girl, with a 9-5 job, who is interested in scientific experiments and wants to persuade V to do good or bad from the sounds of it with her?
But any romantic notions is a NO! Why does testing a relationship have to mean bringing in a third person? And I'm sure they have a guy lined up for Catherine too who is "NORMAL" *rolling eyes*. So this is how it's going to be every time they test their love season after season? Throw in a hot new guy or girl? There is enough angst/drama with all the family, friends and evil organisation madness for them.
If the writers are going to be this PREDICTABLE they better play it out right this time round cause the Alex arc was very tragic to watch.There shall be no kissing, holding hands, rubbing and touching just laughing, eye contact and flirting between V and Tori and same for Cat and whoever her guy is gonna be. I'm not kidding and I'm not freaked out like other beasties I just want them to get it right with all these necessary(imho) moments/scenarios.
If they can bring Gabe back from the dead, stand him up and send him on his way, they can do anything that could seem even more far fetched. (the pills didn't work, he was in beast mode 24/7 so can't be in public, his organ donor was whisked away, and he was shot at least 4 times in the chest) why not bring him back, a totally ridiculous outcome of the Gabe arc. It was pretty bad to begin with. More beasts? why did we need him at all in the story line?

ReplyDeleteDespoina, I hope you're right. THat sounds better than what I had heard at a Comic Con interview with Jay and Kristin. I really hope that Tori is simply trying to get him to join Muirfield....I just wish that, after the whole Alex debacle, that they would reassure fans that it would be nothing like that.
