  2. Looks awesome. And it's nice to have Peyton List back on TV.

  3. Me too. I wish I didn't read the script though because now I already know what happens in this episode..

  5. preview looks very good. definitely going to be one of the new shows that i'm gonna watch week to week. also looking forward to the blacklist (nbc), shield (abc), OUAT in wonderland (abc) and almost human (fox).

  6. Lucifer!!!! Hooked already, looks great.

  7. I'm looking forward to the same shows too except for Blacklist, not sure on that one.

  8. why not? thought the nbc promo looked pretty good. kinda a cross between the following and white collar.

  9. I wish some other network made this. Then we might get a good story rather than tons of teenage angst. I will watch it but I still wish CW would try something different one of these days.

  10. Wow I was already excited but this trailer is really good, it left me wanting so much more! Excellent trailer really, I am looking forward to this show a lot

  11. I am really interested in seeing this. Especially Lucifer/Nick from Supernatural. He did an awesome job. It sounds like all the tomorrow people get the same abilities? That would be cool -- most superpower shows people get different abilities. It will be interesting to see how the dynamics change with everyone having different levels of the same abilities.

  12. Arrow doesn't have teen angst, not all shows at the CW are the same.

  13. It's less my cop of tea. I prefer supernatural shows and watch too much tv already.

  14. i think i'm kinda the opposite. i don't really watch much shows with too much of a fantasy/supernatural genre (except for OUAT). haven't even seen supernatural, x files or buffy yet (even when people always say that those shows are good)... maybe i'm just being a bit ignorant about it all :( the shows i kinda watch is more family dramas, police proceduals, mystery whodunnit shows and such

  15. Stephen wakes up shirtless in a strange couple's bed (threesome-like), and is then tied to his bed, still shirtless. Yep, it's The CW.

  16. I really liked her in FlashForward, the only thing I've seen her in so far. I was so pissed at the end, when Bryce gave up his existing relationship with Nicole to pursue a fantasy relationship with Keiko - that was so contrived and stupid. (Sorry if you didn't see it and I'm just ranting pointlessly, heh)

  17. It doesn't have *much* of it, since most of the characters are adult, but it's definitely there. See: nearly every scene Thea is in. Whether it's getting drunk and breaking into a store, saying her mother should have died instead of her father (!!!) because she decided that Moira and Malcolm were having an affair, or whatever, Thea's as bad a teenage brat as any I've seen.

  18. Yeah. On the surface it sounds kind of dull to have all the superheroes possess the same powers, but at least it's original, so maybe they can do something interesting with it.

  19. Supernatural is all about FAMILY. Two brothers that fight things that go bump in the night..at least the first seasons are. ;) My favorite show and hooked me with the pilot.

  20. Heh, and it was always the CW\WB. I'm re-watching Buffy now and Angel appears shirtless in so many scenes..

  21. I've yet to see a show with teens than didn't have such angst, not just the CW, but the CW are more likely to have teens in each show because of catering to their target audience. Still, Thea is one of the teens I more like at the CW shows I watch.

  22. Buffy is the best show from the 3 you mentioned. I first watched it as a teen and now, not anymore :) and I love it today as much as I loved it then.

  23. So far, I think I liked this better on paper. These people were supposed to be helping people and saving the world, not fighting for their existence against an evil fed. This show seems to be borrowing too many elements from The 4400 and Alphas for my taste as well. With that being said, The Tomorrow People still looks better than most of The CW's other new shows.

  24. FlashForward was the biggest thing I've seen her in. She was Lois Lane's sister on Smallville and she's shown up a number of times on Mad Men. And I share your frustration that Bryce left her to go pursue Keiko in the end, I liked Nicole and Bryce together, probably one of my favorite relationships on that show.

  25. is nina myers done be a traitor again? 24 then covert affairs, please make it a 3rd time.

  26. They are mostly teens needing guidance, and apparently their leader was Amell's character's father and they need his help to find his dad. I think them helping others will come later once they either find his missing father or decide they can manage with him.

  27. I wanna watch it!!! Definetly on the list of the shows I'll check it out!!! And look at Pellegrino there, the bad thing is he's not going to a con here in Rio 'cause he'll be working on the show...

    ReplyDelete
  28. This is kind of sounding like Secret Circle lol Cassie is the key to the circle and they find her father who is supposed to help them (but turns out he's just a big slut).

    ReplyDelete
  29. That's a fair gripe but I think the "saving people" portion could come into play a little later in the season, so I'm not too worried about that yet...

  30. The most promising CW pilot this season, by far!

Also $10 Luke (that's the blonde dude's name right?) is Mark Pelegrino's son. Actually I'm so sure of it I'd put more money on it easy!

  31. You may be right but the whole saving people thing is supposed to be the overall premise of the show (or at least it was originally) and if it takes the program too long to set that up they may lose viewers by the time they finally get there.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Also good point...
Who knows, even if it takes them a while to get to the "saving" part, the build up during the fighting for their survival might be enough of a hook until we get there.

It might also be interesting if they chose to run both stories, kinda in parallel.

    Wait and see I guess....

  33. What? All of what I just watched was just from one EPISODE? Talk about too much too soon.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Of course.. they are only going to start filming the next one next week..

  35. wow this looks good, really good. ....
