Royal Pains airs on Wednesdays at 9/8 C on USA Network.
It's summer in the Hamptons and everyone is cranky. Divya and Evan go off on Paige for no reason. Hank goes off on a client, although for good reason. Neighbors with injunctions, parents with teen problems, billionaire estate issues, you name it. People are stressed. The only 2 people on an even keel are Paige and the awesome new Symphony executive , Shelby Shackleford, here to help re-open the hospital. I hope we get more of Shelby because so far she's a great addition. Even Jeremiah is different according to Hank. Hank: "You didn't just grow a beard in Iceland. You grew some pluck." Pluck looks good on him, although it also lands him in a situation he doesn't want.
Hank still struggles with his health while Divya comes to terms with her newly confirmed pregnancy and Evan frets over keeping Hank Med open. Nobody is taking change well. However it's not the Hamptons without the sunshine too. To counteract the injunction from Blythe Ballard, Hank Med throws an open house for their rich neighbors and a speech battle and interesting timing ensues. The ghost of Boris Kuester von Jurgens-Ratenicz takes residence at Shadow Pond along with Evan and Paige, which leads to great hijinks and even better lines. Plus the mystery of Dmitri's role in Boris' "death" takes an unsuspecting twist. Big things are happening in the Hamptons and our favorite characters are smack in the middle of it.
Don't miss Royal Pains on Wednesdays at 9/8 C
on USA Network.
Best surprise - Shelby Shackleford
Biggest twist - tie: Dmitri and Divya
Lesson learned: Never doubt a Collins-Lawson when old money warfare is on the line.
Best lines:
"Am I allowed to talk or is it impolite to interrupt Boris' ghost?"
"Shaggy saw a ghost. I'll be upstairs."
"The house is over 100 years old. Shouldn't it be settled by now?"
"We don't know any of our neighbors." "Yeah, the closest one lives in another zip code."
